A man who knows this league inside out for me. A long shot but if Mikey Harris was open to leaving the Portsmouth youth team, I think he would be a decent shout. You'd expect managers like Martin Foyle to apply but I don't think he would be the right man.

Firstly I would like to thank Andy Scott and Terry Bullivant for their efforts and I am grateful for their efforts in keeping us up last season.

This season we started off well but have been going backwards for the last few months (with the exception of a good November) and probably a change was needed on balance. Scott made it clear he wouldnt walk so the board had to take that decision.

My worry is we are now effectively left with Matt Gray running the team (I assume Barker will act as an assistant). The same Matt Gray who was first team coach during both Holdsworth and Scott's managerial reigns. Now I may be putting 2+2 together but I dont think he is blameless in this, and could possibly be the problem.

On the 25th November after we beat Southport away we were 12th. Unfortunately since then our season has collapsed. Must show how bad Woking are when they are the only team out of 11 to lose against us

And although Williams hasn't had a great season, there are still only 5 strikers in this division with a better goal record and he has scored over 1/3 of our goals this season. I just hope that the new manager (whoever he may be) can get Brett back on form!

Still don't know what the club were thinking when as a top Championship club we bought a 24 year old striker for £50,000 from the Conference South who didn't even have a 1 in 3 record at that level.

Seems to have done surprisingly well for Aldershot though..

One problem with Andy Scott is that he never learns from his mistakes. He constantly unnerves players and thus brings a downer on the team. Probably a good thing that Aldershot have sacked him

I think Shahid (our chairman) hit the nail on the head with practically everything he said! Scott was a nice guy (ive met him a few times and he was always very respectful towards me as a supporter) and I still think didn't get the credit for what he achieved last season (he effectively had to build a team twice AND overhaul a 10 point deduction just to stay up) but its a results business and while at times we merited more from our performances it doesnt matter if you lose and we have lost far too many games recently.

I personally have nothing against Scott and I hope he gets a chance somewhere else and learns from his mistakes from this season!
