I'm at least pleased that we stayed away from the usual list of failed managers, maybe those (still left) in the boardroom really have learned from their past two appointments....maybe.
I know he got Wigan promoted last season but didn't they spend quite heavily? any half decent manager would have got them up surely? What's his preferred style; decent football, hoofball etc? Not that i imagine style will come into at this point, we simply need points and quite quickly plus this bunch of absolute jokers that's he's been left to work with are hardly going to start playing football reminiscent of 1970's Brazil.
Good luck to him but he has a job on his hands big time. And even though it will be all about results it would be nice to actually enjoy going to the games again because it certainly wasn't the case under Danny "Let's get 10 men behind the ball and have no shots at goal" Wilson.
