It seems almost certain that this game will be our lowest league attendance since leaving Highbury. Yeah it's a Thursday night, it's on TV and it's against a Pulisball team, but it must be worrying for Kroenke, given that money is literally the only thing he cares about.

I only have one ambition left this season, finish above Nasri. His only goal is to finish above us which he admitted with a horrible Dick Dastardly style grin.

Our best winning run in the league is three games this season. We'll match that if we beat Leicester. The pattern tends to be two wins and a series of draws mixed with losses. I wouldn't worry about our "form" too much.

Mixed emotions watching the first half of this as its always fun seeing Arsenal slip up and for them over at Arsenal Fan TV to go into meltdown, but decided in the end I'd be happy they won, as that keeps those Manoo pricks off their back for top four and we can't have them getting back there can we. Once it went 2 - 0 there was no point in watching the second half.

Well... that's assuming we don't drop any other points. If we drop points away to Sunderland or at home to Norwich, both of whom very much have something to play for, then that lets you back in. Our last game is at home to Villa... I think your chances are remote, and your goal difference really doesn't help, but knowing us I wouldn't quite rule you out of it yet.
Reflecting on last night, it was nice to see Sanchez looking so sharp. It's too little too late now, but during our shit spell it would have been nice to have had someone to rely on to do something special and get us out of trouble.
I was just thinking "good that Sanchez will have finally have a summer off and be fresh next pre-season," but there's another fucking Copa America?! WHY THE FUCK IS THERE ANOTHER COPA AMERICA
Bellerin played well, though his final ball was poor. Giroud took a half to warm up but started looking his old self in the second half, doing some nice lay-offs and some impressive touches from long balls. Joel Campbell was nice and lively when he came on.
We weren't particularly incisive, though. I do wonder which strikers the club have their eye on, and if they don't sign any then what the atmosphere will be like in August
