Bit of a strange one here.

Australia need to win and hope France do them a favour against Denmark. Also, to ensure Australia overtake Denmark, they need to hope France win by more than 1 or that they can beat Peru by more than 1. Failing that, they need to score more than Denmark and they are both tied on 2 goals scored. Tough ask.

But saying that, Peru are already out, so might put in a subdued performance. Or will they take Australia out with them?

Predictions?

Peru get a second and just look that little bit sharper on the ball so far.

I'd like to know where Carver is who said we were going to be the whipping boys of the World Cup.
