Sorry, in my rush to get everything up, I forgot to announce my everlasting and passionate allegiance to Belgium(well, until they get knocked out of the tournament anyway).

Team is looking in decent shape, even without Kompany. The defence has got enough depth to cope with his absence and upfront we are looking strong. Lukaku scoring, Hazard getting his form back just at the right time, got De Bruyne, Carrasco, Mertens as well.

Little concerned by the last few results. Drew with Finland, scraped past Norway. Going to have to perform a lot better if we have any chance of beating Italy in this game. Fancy us to get a draw, but only if we start performing like we should be capable of.

Fascinated to see how the Belgians do. They went into the last tournament with a lot of hype but never produced. Yeah they got results, but barely. Narrow wins against Algeria, Russia and South Korea. Needed ET to beat the USA. Then in the qualifiers for this tournament, they looked like they could even finish 2nd to Wales at one stage. Wales managed to take 4 points off them too.

They have a lot to prove, because at the moment they look like a good team on paper only. This is their tournament to prove they actually are a threat and team to take seriously.

Fancy Belgium here. Gotta love the beeb's cringeworthy pre-match features. Treated to Morricone over a Conte interview for this one.

I predicted a 1-0 win to the Belgians for this one so expect goals.

Italy look solid as always at the back but given the ball away loads. This tournament has been pretty slown this far.

Belgium are full of talented individuals but there's no team there. No chance they're winning the tournament.

We're looking pretty damn good, wasn't quite expecting this sort of football! Need to kill them off though and not leave game in the balance.

Italy look solid at the back, yet very dangerous going forward. Belgium slow and pedestrian, too predictable and easy to deal with.

Great start to the second half, Belgium starting to ask questions just need the ball to stick when Lukaku receives it.

Well Italy doing what they do best.

Getting a goal and defending very comfortably.

Good to see a side who actually know how to defend.

Classic Italy (for the most part).

Lukaku and De Bruyne were fucking dire. The Belgian defence wasn't up to much but they weren't given much help from the two in front of them.
