That doesn't really make any sense. Are you suggesting that by supporting a more succesful club you are less likely to have 'worst' games? Of course you're not. Your worst might not be as bad as someone elses but you can have just as many, perhaps more.
Getting beaten in an FA cup final might not be as bad as suffering a loss that sees you drop out of the football league but that's not really relevant. Let's say Man Utd are on for a treble. They lose the last game of the season and come 2nd, they lose the FA cup final and they get smashed in the champions league final. Those 3 cumulative losses would feel a lot worse than the majority of losses for a side that gets relegated having lost most of their games.
When you're used to winning, losing hits you harder.

No, I do get that and maybe it is all relative. I appreciate this won't happen for a long time but if the Man Utd of old were to come second one season, even their own fans would know they'd just go and win it the next. Also, the examples you used were all hypothetical, what I'm saying is what's actually happened. The only one I'll give them is the 6-1 to City as losing a derby by that margin is canny bad.

Let's be honest if this had been 12/18 months ago as a Leicester fan you'd be in complete agreement. It's the same when Arsenal fans were claiming they were having a drought/crisis prior to winning that FA Cup a few years back having gone what, 7 years without a trophy.

Funny you should say that but I actually felt a lot worse about the 2-1 loss away to Arsenal last season than any of the losses our first season back in the premier league where we were rooted to the bottom for so long. Mainly because at the time it seemed like a much more important game.
Yes I've used hypotheticals but that's because I can't really recall results for everyone elses clubs.
I think after what we did last season doesn't make any difference really.
Look at Sunderland, if they go down this season with a record low points tally it'll have been a humiliating season for them. But if they were to get back to the Prem and 'do a Leicester' or rather nearly do a Leicester and fell short right at the death by losing one the last day of the season for example, then that one game would be looked at as worse far more than the number of games they'll lose this season.
I think it's fair to say that a lot of the big clubs play in more important games, ie finals. And I think it feels a lot worse to lose a final than to get beaten in a league match that may not have much importance at the end of the season.
As a supporter of a club that has been relegated a fair few times I wouldn't cite specific results neccesarily because generally it's cos you've been shit for the whole season. So disappointment is lessened due to lowered expectation.

Saints 3-2 Liverpool - Never seen St. Mary's celebrate a goal like Mane's second, Liverpool fans were stood there stunned. Looking back the game was entertaining as fuck, end to end, especially in the second half.
Saints 4-0 Coventry - Promotion to the Premier League, a great atmosphere that day followed by an almighty piss up in the city centre.

They're the two that stick out in recent years.

Worst
Saints 1-2 Sheffield Utd - We dominated, equalised in the last minute to go and concede a last minute winner straight from kick off. 13,000 at St. Mary's that night. Wonder where all the plastics who turn up today were then? The club was on the brink of administration and relegation to the 3rd tier.
Saints 1-6 Liverpool - This one hurt last season. Koeman set us up so wrong against a weak Liverpool side. They carved us open so easily, we were so open. I personally thought we could go all the way in the League Cup last season and was fucking gutted it ended like this.
