Ipswich vs Leeds

i'd take a draw but I expect a defeat, we are on good form but I can't see a result tonight

2-1 Ipswich

Haven't listened to the game yet but sounds like we were a bit under the cosh for the rest of the half. I suppose your game plan is a bit thrown when you go up so early!

Would be huge to see this through. Our next two away games after this are Sheffield Wednesday and Brentford so these 3 were always going to be very tricky. A win would be massive right now but, although I'm a bit more comfortable with our defence now than in the past, I'm still not confident we won't concede.

Sounds like we've had by far the better of the play for most of the half, which makes it even more frustrating to have conceded that early goal. More of the same in the second half and we can get something out of this game.

Fairly predictable that. Be tricky to even get a point now.

If it carries on like it is currently I'd like to think we have enough to win this, well on top. Skuse just went close.

And there's the inevitable.

To be fair we should have lost far more games away this season. Always seriously unconvincing.

why do we let pressure build for 85 fucking minutes?

we just refused to play and deserved the loss

'Pitman just on for Murphy, he's the man to get a winning goal.' Called it in the Shoutbox :cool1:

We're just not very good, basically. And even worse when we don't have Wood as we don't have anyone else who can play up front on their own (it's not even ideal for Wood to be fair).

All these unbeaten runs but we've barely looked good more than a handful of times.

I got the impression that Leeds were dangerous when they attacked, they just didn't do it very often. Is Evans normally a defensive manager?

Surprised the goal came, thought we were well on top for 89 minutes but feared we had missed the chance to win.

Great result lads, upto 5th and within striking distance of Derby.

Wouldn't say he was defensive but we don't have anyone who can make the ball stick so we're permanently under pressure away from home. Got very little creation in the team either. Doukara is useless as a lone striker so no surprise we've been looking for a target man for when Wood is injured. Not sure we'll see much investment now the season is over though.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Ryan Fraser bossing it again I see. Good on him. Combining with Pitman for the winner too.

Evans really is a laughing stock!

We fully deserved that win last night! Played superb and it was far from launch it up to nobody! We were actually playing from the back for once!

Ironic that his teams goal came from an aimless launch up field :brill:

Fraser is just superb! Since he's been back, him and Pitman haven't played much together but I was calling for it last night and it happened and the linked up a few times really well
