What is the biggest gambling win you've ever had? Anyone won a shit load?

I only tend to play with small stakes £5/£10/£20 so my biggest win is only around £400 but in the past 12 months I am around £400 up with 365 and up with Victor and PP too (don't really use anyone else unless they are a standout price on a horse)

I did see a mate win £2,500 one afternoon in William Hill to which he decided he would take his missus on a 2 week trip to Cape Verde, where on the 3rd day she told him she;d been having an affair for 6 months so he spent the next 12 days on his own in the bar by the sounds of things which was nice and awkward I imagine

Anyone else won a lot or got any funny related stories related to betting?

Won £483 from a quid about 18 months ago. That was pretty cool. Other than that I don't think I've ever won over £100

Working in a bookies tho, I've seen some pretty hilarious things.

One guy won about £6,000, bought his gf a wedding ring with it and she took the ring and fucked off. It was funny cos he was a c*** I think he won something like £6,132 and didn't give us a tip. Twat.

I won £402 last month off a £15 bet.

My best win was when I predicted us to beat Newport 5-0 on TFF and went and stuck some money on it on the day and it came in. That got me £200. Also once Real were 1-0 up against Barca and I had Barca to be winning at half time at 90/1. Stuck £2 on that, Messi scored literally as It submitted then again with the last kick of the half.

The main problem was I absolutely detested the Assistant Manager. She is the most repulsive woman I have ever met and I ended up telling her to go fuck herself the day before I handed my notice in. 10 hour shifts with her were fucking horrific.

I won £2880.00 on a 10 team accumulator about 3 years ago. Was panicking like mad as I had all teams in apart from one (Leeds at home to Boro I think it was). All 9 games had finished and Leeds had about 5 minutes injury time and were drawing 0-0 (I had them to win), they got a penalty in the 93rd minute and scored, my head fell off and I ran around my house and garden wooping when the final whistle went!
