Our nemesis from the West again. Still waiting for a home win since 1979 when there were some proper tasty battles between the two clubs during our last foray into the lower leagues.

On paper it's a home banker.

Two former players coming back to play against us today, in Butler and Bird. We all know how that normally works out.

A win today will keep the gap between us and 4th and hopefully deflate those below us as the games start to run out.

Newport need the points which should hopefully stifle any bus parking. Bird can score goals and his record for the exiles is impressive.

I'll say 3-2 to ourselves, with a lot of nervous hanging on in the last 5 minutes.

We never beat them at home, they kick lumps out of us and their pitch is a disgrace so I will take great delight if we win today which will only help to confirm their relegation.
