We've got a few injuries in our squad, mainly to Danny Batth and Jed Wallace which will keep them out of this game. Apart from that I'm happy with the players we have at our disposal, with Conor Coady and Adam Le Fondre keen to impress on their first games for the club. Probably playing Blackburn at the worst time, whilst they still have some of their better players at the club. Still with the recent additions we have got I'm confident we can snatch a win. Our team will probably look like:

Ikeme

Doherty
Stearman
Ebanks-Landell / Hause
Golbourne

McDonald
Coady

Henry
Edwards
Dicko

Afobe

1-2 to Wolves, Rhodes getting an early goal for Blackburn, whilst Afobe and a late Adam Le Fondre goal to win it for Wolves.

Suspect the line up will be different....
Ikeme

Iorfa
Hause
Stearman
Golbourne

Van la Parra (subbed for Henry)
McDonald
Coady
Rowe (subbed for Edwards)

Dicko (subbed for ALF)
Afobe

Heart says 4-0 Wolves, head says 4-0 Wolves (Van la Parra x 2, Afobe, Coady)

Blackburn 1-2 Wolves

Very happy to win considering the injuries to Batth and Wallace. It was a pretty even game but we got away with murder on our winner. David Edwards preforms a brilliant Maradona handball effort to score just before halftime.

Feel for Blackburn for being on the end of such a horrific decision, but after last season it's nice to have some good fortune go our way.

Roll on Hull next weekend.

I see Afobe scored again. He's was good in league one with us and he's cutting the mustard at this level with you. We are going to need to find someone like him for this year as we can't rely on presents like we got today.

You have a short memory, I remember Jordan Rhodes pulling off some Tom Daley esc dives in the last few years to win penalties against us. If the shoe was on the other foot I doubt you'd be complaining.

Lucky win. Although we had some decisions against us, the game will be remembered for Edwards handball. Poor refereeing.
Sometimes these decisions go against you (e.g. Bournemouth and Watford last year), sometimes they go with you.

Yeh, like the one that sent off Rajiv van la Parra when we were 2-1 up at home to Bournemouth (red card later rescinded)....

...you mean that ref? (Do remember that we missed the play-offs by goal difference of just three goals)

Or the ref that sent off Bakary Sako for this appalling hatchet job on Fernando "Tom Daley" Forestieri?
:shut:

We all get bad decisions, we all get decisions that go for us. You just tend to remember the ones that ran against you....
