We'll do well to get anything here.
Bolton have one of the best home records and the best defense. Our strikers are useless at the moment.
Would be more than happy with a full house of draws for February.

I'd be over the moon with a point here

To clarify I'm not being negative about us, rather the opposition being much better.

We are an average team in this division, we all knew the February games off Rochdale away, Bradford home, Sheffield utd home, port vale away, scunthorpe home would be tough and we didn't lose to any of them.

Apparently we dominated long spells of the game tonight and had we had a striker of league 1 quality we'd have won this one. Shame really, as I see our season fizzling out whereas if we did have a striker I truly think we'd be a banker for playoffs.

It makes you wonder if you could have sneaked into the playoffs if you still had Taylor.

Pretty certain we would have, or atleast if we replaced him. Prior to him going, we had no defence to speak of, but after bringing in a keeper and a few defenders we are a completely different proposition back there now.

We're still playing good football and we're matching teams right up there as shown by the last month, but if we could just convert when we're on top we'd have had substantially more points.

Still, atleast we have a basis for next season

Well. I said I'd take a draw, but on reflection I am quite disappointed we didn't win.
Bolton were poor from the 8th to the 94th minute.

To be honest I'd still say no having seen a few of the top 6. If we'd had the defence we have now since August too then maybe, but we were convincingly beat by a few teams when we had Taylor (Millwall, Bolton home, Scunthorpe) and Bradford looked class the other week, them and Sheff Utd have shown where we want to be performance-wise I reckon.

I like to think we can make a few signings (plus keep everyone together) in the summer and have a real go next season, which is crazy given our last few years.

One of the single best performances I've seen in years. We were outstanding and dominated the entire game after the 6th minute. How we never won it I will never, ever know.

Each and every one of the players did us proud last night, and the supporters did the club proud too. It was a great night to be a Gashead and I am so optimistic about our future having not been beaten by any of the top six this month.

And there's a good chance you could have the Bristol derby back next season, it's been a long time.

Could be a great season, Rovers and City battling it out near the top.

That would be simply amazing, but I'll keep my feet on the ground for now.

Just saw the highlights and it looks like a battering, fair play to the team. No idea how that wasn't a handball and penalty either, it's so blatant it's unreal!
