It's been an uncharacteristically successful start to the season thus far, I wonder if we'll be brought back down to earth with a bump? I get the feeling Everton are going to be improved on last season, certainly going forward they are more adventurous now as you'd expect. Home games with Everton in recent years have a habit of being pretty eventful. So this should be a decent game.

We seem fairly free flowing in creating chances ourselves, Fraser and Brooks providing Wilson with enough clear cut chances in the two games so far to have racked up several goals. Is it is he's buried 2, let's hope he can keep keep going or even improve.

I remember a Richarlison powered Watford turning us over at home last season, he was impressive early last season before trailing off. He seems to have started like a train again this season so we'll have to be careful of him.

Very tempting to say draw for this fixture, both teams have had good confident starts, and although it is very early both teams seem to have progressed from last season. Two talented managers in charge, so if they cancel each other out I wouldn't be surprised.
However, I fancy Everton to just nick it by the odd goal, if their manager can get the best out of some of those "nearly men" like Walcott, Richarlison, Schneiderlin (he is injured today though), they could be a really strong team this season.

Bournemouth 1 Everton 2

Yep, should have stuck with my initial gut instinct! Bournemouth are clearly the come back kings this season, the highlights are a must. I wasted my time watch the Gooners overcome a mediocre West Ham team, wish I'd been watching this!

Eventful game then, absolutely knackered just watching it! 7 points is an excellent start for us, and that today could have gone either way at the end.

Hope Keane is ok, looked spark out of it after a nasty coming together with his own team mate.

Pickford continues his good form from the summer, Wilson will be frustrated not to have scored a couple.

As ever we never know when we're beaten.

At the very least Richarlison can finally wear that that Dsquared2 cap next time he's out on the lash in the city centre, small crumbs of comfort for the Bitterz hoping to get his monika, especially those who only leave the Wirral when they draw a derby ,but still...
