The Mike Dean Show live on Sky. Dean is a prick, I'll get that out the way now.
Imagine we'll get a bit of a backlash from their slightly unlucky Champions League exit. Routine win for Spurs I should think. We've got more important games to come.
Normally it would be a routine win for Spurs much like last week but I'm worried with the loss in CL the guys might be a little down and come out flat.
We have a very good record against the Cherries, but I'd be lying if I said I think this one will be a stroll in the park. Bournemouth have been showing increased resolve of late, and Spurs have struggled to break down "weaker" away teams once or twice this season.
Saying that, every game is important if Spurs are going to get top four, with Chelsea away and Man City home next month it is vital we get a W here.
Bournemouth 1 Tottenham 3
Did the score flatter Spurs,? Yes. Was the second Bournemouth goal legitimate? Yes. Do I care? No.
Seriously, bad luck Bournemouth, not the first time Spurs have ran off with an easy win. Saying that, Kane, Alli and Rose injured is a kick in the spuds. Hoping it is nothing serious, while I'm about it, hope the Cherries stay up. Like the manager, like the attacking approach.
We gave Spurs a decent game for 80 mins. Pleased with our effort and i can live with the scoreline in that case.
They have lots of quality and options in attack, we had to bust a gut constantly to contain them, yet we also created chances on the break. Came out the traps flying at the start and got the early lead, and it was always going to be game of containment and counter after that for us.
Too often we picked the wrong pass on a breakaway and failed to take advantage of nice positions. That's the difference we obviously lack compared with a side like Spurs.
Bit hard done by with Son's fortuitous second goal bobbling off his standing foot, and pretty peeved about the 'equaliser' being disallowed! Wouldn't be a Mike Dean game without some controversy! I don't think any of the big 6 clubs get that disallowed.
The trouble was we had to work so bloody hard physically up until then trying to just about hold Spurs, we had nothing left in the tank. Then that being ruled out shot us mentally. Spurs ran riot the last 10 mins against a shell of our side, putting a shine on their admittedly deserved win.
Nasty ankle sprain for Kane but think its no worse than that, I'm sure he'll be fine given some rest. Pretty bloody nice to be able to bring Son in off the flank and have him play so well up front.
