After witnessing the type of football Vale play, I think we've almost taken it onboard.

Signing Reece Burke from West Ham has improved our defence tenfold. Goals from new signing Devante Cole, and the pressure is off a little. The first win was always going to be crucial, we managed that, and subsequently, we're unbeaten in 4.

Still believe it's our strongest squad in years - and we still have Billy Clarke (last season's top scorer) and Felipe Morais (the little magician) to come back from injury.

I've said it before but you'll be up there no doubt. I see your squad as being able to grind out a lot of 1-0's as it seems that you're still quite direct and perhaps more workmanlike than full of flair - but perhaps that is what is needed to get out of this division? The pretty stuff can come later.

Doesn't bother me. It's two local sides in what will no doubt be a competitive game with a decent crowd and it's League One.

Played both sides at home this season. Bradford's first half against us was the most impressive I've seen this season. The entire 90 mins of the Blades game was functional - nothing fancy but looked in control.

I think the 4 2nd half goals we put passed Bradford had a knock-on effect in their subsequent few games.

Be a close game but if there is a winner I'd go for Bradford - just.

We are good going forward, still a bit of a shambles at the back. We have the makings of a decent side and should be midtable this season really, just need some organisation in the defence.

Was in the fucking pub as soon as they went 2 nil up. Absolutely shambolic display in the 1st 25 mins and apparently it got even worse for the rest of the 1st half. A very poor few days for us but it's sheff utd were on about it comes naturally.

You were the best side iv seen in this league for a long time. Iv no issue in losing a game when your outplayed as we were against you but when they perform how they did of what i saw last night its simply not acceptable. We dont have a god given right to beat anyone just cos were a bigger club youve got to fucking earn it

Well said sir. We are all in this league for a reason. I know us Gills fans aren't going to get carried away with our start, because it will come back to bite you on the a**e (this Saturday probably)

Watching this and bradford deservidely lead , however it also makes me realise that 442 is a totally mundane formation , coventry tried playing it last week v scunthorpe and it cost us the match ..if you can play it then fair doos , but 4231 packing out the midfield and attacking in 3s is a far more effective option ..
