Bradford and Millwall play at Wembley for the last spot in the championship.

All match talk in here.

Nothing personal but I hope Millwall get promoted, a Bradford home game for us would bring in a lot more money with a bigger crowd + Millwall have never been the "friendliest" of visitors.

Fifth visit to a Wembley in 9 seasons and four play-off finals in that time. These are very much starting to feel like just another game. Still excited, though. I think it's the first play-off final I've gone into without much expectation. It would be hilarious if we got promoted after our mediocre performances this season. That being said, we should be proud of our performances in the last two games.

2-1 Bradford.

Lol. Are we meant to bring presents or something?

Sorry to disappoint you folks but I don't see us winning. Getting to this point was the aim at the beginning of the season, but our play has hardly merited it.

2-1 City.

First playoff final where our fans will be outnumbered, won the other two hopefully we will carry on the 100% record.

We need to make sure we aren't as toothless as a lot of the season however, it would be nice to be clinical when it really matters.

Will Millwall's "performance" off the pitch be akin to their last couple of efforts?

Think Bradford are probably marginally better overall but Morrison and Gregory give you a chance in any game.

Very tough to call. Wouldn't surprise me if this one went all the way to penalties.

The pros and cons of both sides means for me this is a 50/50 game - We arguably have a better overall side but where it really matters, upfront and in goal, Millwall are undoubtedly better. Don't underestimate our ability to be worryingly toothless in front of goal.

Yes probably. They have around 10-11,000 fans at home games. Unfortunately for them about 15,000 goons that never usually go will always turn up for their Wembley games.

Weird how we seem to have played Millwall in a lot of big games over the last few years.

Think LS summed it up, overall we are the better side but I worry that we might struggle to score whereas if Millwall get a chance they will take it. That was certainly what happened in the league game at VP. Wouldn't like to call it. Hopefully Alex Jones is back to give us an extra option up front.

I don't think there's anything between the two sides at all, in fact I don't think there's anything between the top 9 bar maybe Sheffield United and Bolton. You only have to look at our tie against Scunthorpe to see that, honestly. We could play those games ten times over and come out with a different result each time.

Bolton weren't exactly great. Think I said it the other week that if we'd won four of our twelve (fucking TWELVE) home draws we'd have finished second. And a lot of those draws were down to a lack of a decent strikers before January, dominating games but not scoring enough.

A close game this one, probably a 2-1 scoreline either way.

Train booked, £70! Hopefully hotel won't be much more than £70 a night for the Friday and Saturday and then match ticket £50, this trip is already looking very expensive.

You literally couldnt hand pick a closer game and I have been impressed with both sides this season.

Nothing to do with the semi final as the outcome means nothing to me but just have a feeling Millwall will edge them out, purely based on assessing both teams against us this season.

Want Bradford to go up because we just never beat them and I'm fed up of playing, and losing against them.

Got to be Bradford for me. Millwall's one of our best local derbies, plus if they go up they'll come straight back down again, because they're not very good

In one way I would like to see Millwall win, because someone I know, accidentally cashed out on a treble with Argyle and Brighton to get promoted.

He took about £80, when it could have been nearer £600 :ffs:

Come on Bradford. At least we can say we got beat by the winners. Also I haven't been to Millwall yet (been to Bradford quite a few times now)

:bg: And they say time is a great healer.

Unfortunately not...:bg:
Ruined what should have been a very good day out. It wasn't just the defeat, it was the manner of how our manager had decided to bench Akinfenwa and the fact that after 27 minutes we just sat there wishing we were enjoying something else in London, probably a bit cheaper. It was a long 63+ minutes... :ffs:

You wouldn't have had the season you had with Wilder though, sometimes things are just meant to be.

The '13 Northampton game was a funny one, I only relaxed with about 10 mins to go when in reality the game was done after half an hour. Never at a game has relief poured out the way it did that day after being destroyed by Swansea at the same venue in the cup final a few weeks previous.

I think it was the same for us all, probably just desperation to finally get out of League 2. I remember with about 10 minutes left the ball fell to Akinfenwa in the box, I was still crapping myself thankfully it just went wide.
