Oh dear, I don't think you've quite understood the meaning of the metaphor, champ. The "Egg on Face" concept is generally applied where a prediction or an assumption has been asserted which turns out to be false. I merely asked a question which you failed to answer in a timely fashion. I'm afraid you've made yourself look rather a tit there, old boy. Do try again if you like though.
