Hard fought game, I thought Poch took a slight gamble with the team selection tonight, but taking nothing away from BHA who effectively restricted Tottenham's attack. A draw a fair result? I'd say so.
On a different subject I thought the Brighton penalty was a tad soft but I'm not going to cry about it. That's football, sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't. This is why I am vehemently apposed to VAR. All it will mean for punters at the game is long unexplained intervals while one bloke looks at a video monitor to check what another bloke wasn't quite sure about a minute before. In the massive grey areas of football I anticipate just as many arguments about penalties after VAR comes into force. Fantastic. The same game but with long intervals of nothing happening while a bloke looks at the replays. A slight diversion I know, but I just wanted to get that off my chest...
Didn't watch it but my Spurs friend reckoned the other players were so desperate to get Kane in at every opportunity (even more so than normal) that it ruined the normal dynamics of the team and played a part in them being a bit shit. Coupled with things like Kane taking the free kicks. That's great if true.
