Tough game for Spurs (or anyone going to Burnley these days), we really need a fillip after recent results. A W would be a smashing Christmas present, but we need the likes of Alli and Eriksen to fire for that to happen. Without much confidence, but I'll venture a win for Tottenham.

Burnley fans aren't having it, but it was a blatant penalty and very stupid defending by Long.

Superb result, hat trick for Kane the icing on the cake. At work so I was listening to the commentary, will see the highlights later; soft pen or dive? TalkSport called it a "soft" pen, in other words sometimes given and sometimes not. Whatever, I'll take it with both hands, sounds like the penalty was the catalyst needed for Tottenham to open up Burnley's normally stingy defence. Happy days...

Its thigh to thigh rather than a trip, but thats a foul anywhere else on the pitch. The contentious thing is wether Alli should have seen red for his earlier foul, bit scissory. But that'll be decided upon by the viewers bias I guess.
