Lot of Barnsley connections who'll want to prove a point for Bury on Saturday, Flitcroft, Rose, Etuhu and Mellis to name a few, as well as Danny Nardiello (if he's still there, dunno tbh). Having a good season tbf to them.
We'll probably lose for a change (lol) but looking forward to visiting a new ground and calling Jacob Mellis a tosspiece. Hopefully Flitcroft and Rose get a good reception.

Danny Rose is God.

That is all.

Glad he's appreciated at Bury. Showed his potential by netting a couple at the start of Flitcroft's reign here, never got a look in after that. Could do with a poacher like him now.
How's Etuhu/Mellis getting on? Didn't mind Etuhu and Mellis was class for us when we just about stayed up in 12/13, looked totally disinterested the following season.

We will do something stupid in this game and blow a two goal lead to draw 2-2. Barnsley will follow up the positive result by losing their next few games. The thought of this standard stupid Bury thing is annoying me immensely.

Danny Rose has a roughly equal goals to minutes record go Leon Clarke this season, which should give you a good indication of how he's doing.

I'm hoping for a big reaction from last Friday in this one but think it will be the first leave draw in what feels like ages. Hopefully, Mellis will be fit enough to start...

Inevitable really given how bad the rain/wind's been since yesterday morning. Shame as I was looking forward to it, but gives us a bit more time to prepare for the 6 pointer vs Blackpool on Monday.

Jeff and the lads it is then.
