Mixed views on this from United fans I'm sure. Nice to have some certainly as we head into a crucial run of fixtures though a significant minority of fans don't believe Pressley is up to the job and feel he shoulders most of the responsibility for our drop off in form since January. On the flipside, we can only appoint a manager based on who we think will be the right man for the job going forward and I don't think many could argue that Pressley should have achieved automatic promotion with what he inherited so if we make the playoffs, he's done a good job. What he can do next season remains to be seen but any appointment carries some risk, there's no such thing as a manager guaranteed to lead you to promotion.

I hope he has a bad day in Cleethorpes today and gets his selection and tactics all wrong as he tries to stem the flow of our free flowing style of attacking football.

0-0 will be fine.

No I’m not happy about it. I guess it shows how low our clubs standards are if he’s done enough to impress them.

He’s proved in this half season that he isn’t capable of getting anything close to the best out of players, that he’s tactically poor, that he doesn’t have a clue how to set a team up to pick up results particularly away from home. He proved that he couldn’t recognise how weak our midfield was and what it was lacking with his persistent selection of slater until very recently. I could go on and on and on about how shit he is but I’d be here all night.

We could have got rid for nothing in the summer. Instead we’ll likely have pay off his contract early next season and get someone else in to keep us in the football league. A shocking decision by the club. I honestly thought/expected even this board would get rid after the awful job he’s done.
