It is a poor away attendance, but a huge month for us and with the Manchester game thrown in an expensive one too. On Sky on a Friday night not long before Christmas, I can see why people would pick other games.

By the sounds of it we will be taking a decent amount to the Villa and QPR games, but at the same time we usually take a reasonable amount to Birmingham and London and are generally poor once we have to travel past there.

I can guarantee if you were travelling past Birmingham to Manchester or Liverpool your fans would somehow find the means to travel
Sky, Friday night, near Xmas etc it was 3rd v 4th, when you expected your team to be midtable no excuse it's plain shit.
Anyway beside that, didn't see the match, it seems you were a little lucky, but it doesn't matter, well done great result. You must be starting to believe now.

Their wasn't 475 of them and no way was there 24k in the ground. Why would 125 city fans decide to go at the last minute and potd. Was 20k in the ground tops thousands of empty seats what aren't normally empty

Both allocations are much bigger than your average :animatedf:
QPR is 300 more, 1,700 to London on a Saturday isn't a good number as I said.

Wasn't really trying to make excuses, it was a poor number and I said as much.
Was a great result despite playing well below our best, though credit must be given to Sheffield United as they played well and would have deserved the win.

No number confirmed for us but we'd sold over 1500 tickets before POTG was announced, shame the team hasn't matched the support this season.

Season ticket holders not attending probably included in attendance, my mate didn't take his 2 lads because it was far too cold for them, 4 and 7 year old they are I think and season ticket holders.

More of a case of the old ones and ones with kids I'd guess I doubt a grown man wouldn't go cos it's cold. Tv Is the main reason far easier to just watch in the local or the house

Where did you get the Wednesday figure from mate?
It was on away days Facebook. Not sure if it's accurate, although some of the others on there were. Norwich, like villa don't give them out, but it had Millwall down as 2088, so fuck knows where they are getting their info from.

Sold 2k for pne on saturday and doesn't look like we will anywhere near sell out at villa either the week after. Our away support definitely hasnt got anywhere near as much demand as last year despite us doing way way better than expected.

Not sure why that interests you quite so much... Midweek, and with the weather/being on TV would have put off more off.

Our first sub-12.5k home attendance in 15 years though, slightly concerning. Although we appear to actually report actual attendances this season, rather than the inflated 'tickets sold' attendances as we have done in the past.

Don't care. You're punching above your weight where you are, finished 3rd last season, spent a lot of money in the summer so a sub-10k Monday night or not is hilarious.

Weird that. our home crowds are down for some reason, and our away support, although still very good, has dropped a bit. If we were doing shit again, then fair enough, but we are having a decent season.

This is the only season in a long time where you will average more than them.
You don't know anything about our attendances do you? We averaged 2,000 more than them last season for the first season in a while that we've had the ground to do so, we finished 17th they finished 3rd. We also never went below 10k even when bottom of L1 23 games winless. Whatever you say though.

Just had a quick glance over the last 10 years and they seem to have a higher average. The Elm Park years were low crowds, but with the new stadium and premiership football, it's no surprise.
