Fair enough. Shit allocation that. Sure that upper tier holds more than that.

Wolves would've sold 2,100 on a Saturday then.....

Just on our way back now, another grim away day.

Lowest away following I can recall us taking on Boxing Day, only one that comes close is the 800 we took to Southend in 1988.

Now 37 games without an away win at this level, Saturday’s trip to Sheff Utd will see us hit the 1000 days mark.

Can’t see us getting that elusive win any time soon.

1700 to Millwall really isn't bad considering everyone has to drive there. It's no worse to any other away number today. As said above, if there are trains it would have sold out a over a week ago. 1pm kick off doesn't help either.

Really that many? You're fans we're louder than most though to be fair to you. Louder than our fans anyway...

I took a picture of your fans but no idea how to upload it from my phone. Didn't look like 600 but oh well. The ones that were there did you proud.

Clubs of a similar size all sold out other than derby who still took 700 more for a slightly lesser journey I agree. It's not a very good following at all imo however I believe you are taking 3k to bristol for a tv game which is a very very good following. I don't get this no trains thing, everyone knows that all year so plans early it's always a very very well attended fixture for both home and away fans on boxing day. There was no trains for us at villa on saturday but 2.4k still managed to get there.

I might be clutching at straws. Maybe it's the London element, nobody really likes driving to a London away game, as you can't enjoy a drink, or a night out. 1pm kick off is a bit shit too, so coming from Wolves it would be an early start. I was working today so couldn't go myself, although I've got my ticket for Bristol City on Saturday.

Our home support this season has been impressive, but the atmosphere has been very poor. We were louder last season when we were shit, not really sure why the reason to that is. Someone told me West Brom got their highest gate of the season the other day vs Man Utd, 24,782, now that is fucking embarrassing.

Really?

There's usually at least 3 trains back to Sheffield after 8.30pm on a Saturday from Birmingham New Street.

Were they cancelled last weekend then? Genuine question.

They got it today against Everton, 25k. Their support is shocking home and away tbf. Our home crowds have also been good but the atmosphere is non existent, apparently like a morgue today despite the scoreline. I think it's like that pretty much everywhere to be honest other than real big games, and even then it's pretty shite

Yes all cancelled due to a strike, and no one found that out till about a week before.

Be nice if they sold it out, 300 tickets left in the home ends probably gonna be looking at 26k. Our home support has been levels above our away support this season as well, again the atmosphere is average though.

Both good numbers.
Did the home ends sell out?

As Blademan said.
It was a sell out today, apart from a dozen tickets in the family stand (mainly in the corner section) where all adults must be accompanied by a child.

So it should possibly touch 30,700 in the Sheffield Derby next month. Still means 2,000 seats not made available for sale.
Also 2,220ish is the max tickets we are allowed to give all away clubs (including Wednesday) this season. Although for some reason the Safety Committee let Derby have just over 2,300 tickets this season, so nothing seems set in stone.

I think it's shite tbf, but that's only because you're pissing the league and the whole excitement surrounding the club at the minute. Looks like you will near enough sell out at Bristol city, so can't fault that, but you should of easily of sold out Millwall. Regarding your home support, you usually find when the expectation level rises, the atmosphere becomes worse.

No offence to the R's but Loftus road is a bit of a tip now isn't it? The view from that top tier yesterday was garbage and I was in one of the better seats yet I couldn't see the bloody goal line.
I appreciate it's 'tight' and that makes for a decent atmosphere but it's a pretty poor stadium IMHO.

It was worse. They moved the goal line further forward a few years back to make it better for away fans. Imagine how bad it was

We haven't sold out for Millwall yet. Friday night game in London, surprised we haven't sold it out already. The allocation is only 2k as well.

I love Loftus Road, still a proper ground, has its bad points but I wouldn't swap it for a new build, also looking forward to another visit to Griffin Park on Saturday.
