Would you believe I am just leaving the house, cautiously optimistic.

3-0 Brentford then.

Cautiously confident after 2 victories in our last two games. Then again we were playing against two teams hang out of form.

A third win here today would be amazing, but I think Charlton will probably get the points, 2-0

So it turns out that even at almost full strength, we are terrible.

I'd be interested to see what we actually work on in training, it's definitely not defending, nor is it passing to each other and nor is it finishing.

Just crap.

Apart from a few defensive errors, especially in the first 10 minutes, we'll be completely on top here, without too much end product.

1-0 probably fair, but if McCormack's shot was half an inch lower it would be 2

Also worth mentioning that Malkay McKay is in the stands today.

Interesting.

3-0 final scoreline at the end doesn't flatter us, we were great today, though mostly through an amazing performance from Alan Judge. Unsung hero last year, centre stage this year.

Great result, and what makes it even better is 8 of the starting XI were from our League 1 team. Can't wait to get the new guys from last year and this year back, send us on to a higher level.

Charlton could have punished us a couple of times when we've given the ball away, but didn't really offer anything else. I don't imagine Luzon will last long.

That was so easy. We were really good, Charlton were pathetic. There aren't many better midfielders in this league than Alan Judge.

You sure you weren't watching the re-run of last seasons game? Or did you just leave after 10 minutes?

Brentford offered nothing going forward, when they did shoot it went in. Nothing you can do about that and just one of them games. We created more chances by far.

I don't think you created any chances... you hit us on the break a couple of times, and we gave you the ball near our area a couple of times through stupid defensive errors, but you didn't actually create anything for yourselves!

After the last 2 games, I'm just grateful we've learnt to go forward again.
