I've only just got around to watching the game and feel a tad cheated, I don't have the solution but the standard of refereeing at this level in football has to be better than what it currently is, some of the decisions made by Mr Madley were diabolical - the decision to award a penalty for a foul on Cheek (how apt) being the most blatant - I can see in the not too distant future where video technology will take over, 50 points at this stage is good but we should have been on 52 points.
No I've had time to reflect on yesterday I will give you my thoughts: We were robbed. It was a game we controlled throughout and really deserved to win, we scored two really worked goals; a class goal from Lanzini and a nice move leading upto Carroll's goal. Chelsea, however were incredibly lucky to get anything out of the game, for the free kick, the referee doesn't know how to count 10 yards and although he may still have scored it gives him confidence that he can score when the wall is further back. Then for the 'penalty', it wasn't even in the box which is just ridiculous that it was given, we got nothing out of the ref yesterday and when the other side have an extra man it's really hard to get a win.
