This game will be shit.

1-2 because Chesterfield seem to be in even more of a mess than us.

Can't see us winning. Otherwise I have little to say on the matter.

Big Bird you could be right, we were shite at Donny on Tuesday again; 0 shots on target!
If you listen to Saunders though the score-line flattered Donny!!
The mans deluded, we are heading one-way and very fast............League 2

I get the feeling there's a performance in us somewhere. I don't know where, it's bloody hard to find, but this squad is capable of beating teams. Just a shame the manager couldn't manage a a piss up in a brewery

There's something to be said for that. We have decent players, but they're the wrong players for the way Saunders is trying to get us to be. He's got to recognise the strengths of what he's got and play to it. Right now he isn't.

Free tickets thank god or I wouldn't be gracing them with my presence. Really cba still though. Lost all my interest in going and if my mates weren't going I wouldn't bother.

I'm enjoying football again. Well in Town. Ajose and Obika forming a good partnership. Hopefully we can move on up the league but still 4 points off bottom so not going to get carried away!

Utter, utter dross.

You've got us into this position, Mr Allen and only you can put it right.

Before anyone starts - just an observation.

Is the season down to Saunders being shit or the board/chairman cutting back? Or both?

Dire appointment that everyone except the CFC board could see. Cook had them playing great football and unlucky to lose him to a league two club but Saunders was a nuts appointment.

The board wanted rid of Cook - off the field he was a grenade waiting to go off and they didn't want him here when he did.
Saunders though .... [shakes head]

(I'm assuming he was brought in for being the absolute opposite of Cook personality wise...)

Blimey. What ever it is we have done today...capture it, bottle it, and remember. Well in Town.

I'd like to thank Swindon for putting the final nail in Deans coffin. He's gone and without this result we could have been stuck with him till Christmas.

It's difficult to put into words just what a disaster Dean Saunders has been.

Quality players replaced with crocks, kids and cast-offs. High-tempo pressing, passing, entertaining football replaced with a clueless, lacklustre shambles. Enthusiasm, expectation and confidence replaced with disillusioned resignation.

And all in the space of just over six months.

I'm sure Saunders' time at Tairn will become just another gag or two in his after dinner routine or a hard-luck story that'll elicit sympathy from 'Kammy' on 'Goals On Sunday'.

But if he ever appears at another club their fans should be afraid...very afraid.

He'd be a great fit at Mansfield in the future, a club totally at ease with playing absolutely no football.

But seriously that has to be him done in management now surely?

Three months in to the season, you're in 16th place. It's not great, but it's hardly a disaster when you consider that you sold half your team over the Summer and expected to be in a relegation battle even before Saunders was appointed. Dramatic, much...

A glance at the league table doesn't tell the full story.

Apart from anything else the playing budget is 200k up and we were heading for relegation.

I was appalled when he was appointed and simply see this as correcting a barely fathomable wrong.
