Tuesday nights win against Fleetwood ended five successive draws despite probably being the worse we've played, still unbeaten but we really need to sharpen up in front of goal (I don't think we've scored more than once from open play all season in a game). Defensively we still look nice and solid, NKP and Vincelot have a good partnership going on and both are keeping out McArdle and Kilgallon who at any other time would easily be starters.
Billy Clarke and Mark Marshall were both dropped/rested on Tues but came on as subs and did better than the starters so would expect them two to come in plus Nicky Law, which I think is the team that ended midweek.
I'm not sure what to expect from Chesterfield, I've not heard much about the upcoming Evans case and as such will that prove any, if any of a distraction to them. Liddle will get a good reception, did alright here without excelling.
Prediction? 2-2

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
Don't worry if we take a 2-0 lead against you, we'll contrive to fuck it up somehow.

Another 1-1 with the only Bolton forward who knows what the goal looks like to score another.

We're really struggling for a side here. 3-1 Bradford. Many manking the trip? Usually bring a decent crowd with you.

Connor Wilkinson is a doubt, Dion Donohue is out I think, Rai Simons is out which leaves us struggling to fill the bench.

We've got no fullbacks apart from Liam Graham (2 snr appearences for us) and Laurence Maguire (youth team who made debut on Tuesday) so will struggle defensively where we are rocky at best of times

Would definitely start Mark Marshall if Chesterfield are struggling at full back then, Nicky Law is on paper the furthest left of the midfield but spends most of the game inside meaning Meredith at left back will be the one to get forward on that side.

I fully expect to lose tomorrow. Would snap your hand off for a point.

It sold out tonight so should be 2k there.

Still feeling positive about us, the only draw of the five before Fleetwood I was disappointed with was Bristol Rovers at home, we should have won the game and switched off. Fleetwood we did what we had to do, there was a lot of pressure on us to win at home against a meh side after 5 draws so it was a bit shaky but Vuckic and McNulty both missed decent chances before we actually scored which would have made it less tense. I'd be disappointed with a loss tomorrow and judging from Chesterfield's injury situation we will have to play badly to lose.

Away end sold and Chesterfield have opened the East Stand to visitors this morning. Selling over the phone.

Our inability to finish is what may cost us this year.

Yet again, that game should have been wrapped up and the last tenins just seen out comfortably but we gave Chesterfield a slither of hope by not killing them off.

Bit of both.

If we had even a half threatening striker we'd be going up.

Agree,
I think the truth is there are a lot of average teams but no outstanding teams.

Any team showing consistency will be at least in the playoffs gauranteed.

We are decent and far better than last season (when we still managed to finish 5th) but not outstanding. If we had a goal-scoring striker I'd start to class us as outstanding and we'd probably be top of the league by a clear margin. Long season and a lot can/will change though.

Can't add much more, we still haven't scored more than one in a game from open play yet we're second and haven't lost all season

Bradford were stronger than us pretty much everywhere, and our lack of experience and games in the side showed badly. Fulton, Maguire, Graham, Mitchell, Wilkinson, Dennis all played a handful of games each and you could tell in their decision making against a decent L1 level side. We really need our players back from injury quickly. Saying that our keeper didn't actually have loads to do, and the best save of the match was by Bradfords keeper from a free kick.

Bradford are obviously second for a reason and should be there or there abouts come the end, but might need to get a good striker in to finish top 2

Could tell we had 9 out injured. Absolutely dire. Bradford should have won 2 or 3-0
