Good three points, scrappy goal but felt like we edged the game, add on top other results largely going for us today and it's been a good day

Was looking forward to an attractive fixture between 2 good footballing sides but in the end our terrible pitch was the winner. We were quite poor today and in the 1st half especially, Posh's only tactic was a long ball for Washington to fall over.

Harsh to call us poor, was first time Jones and Wyke have started a game, first time we've played with two proper wingers, first time with Vincelot and Cullen together on their own in the centre. Was bound to be rusty for the opening stages. After that we controlled the game, only issue was the usual of not converting chances and having a panicked injury time.

I've got used to the football we have been playing this season but today thought we reverted to too much long ball that their cds loved. Unfortunately our pitch is a hindrance to us but I suppose at this stage of the season, I will take a scrappy win over a game where we outplay the oppo and draw.

Washington left Peterborough over a year ago.

Thought we were fine after the first 30 minutes. Not exactly the best I've seen us play but for the most part were comfortable. The pitch might have caused a few bobbles but can't remember it having a massive effect on the game. Only thing was Doyle slipping over in the second half when he blindly charged off his line.

Both teams were very poor and it was an awful game as a spectacle. City however, were better organised and had enough muscle to be well worthy of the 3 points against an increasingly powder-puff Posh side.

Will say it again but disagree we were poor, just average really. Posh were awful though I'll give you that. Game plan seemed to be to pass it to that Maddison or Taylor and hope they did something which they rarely did.
