We'll be tough to stop and should be able to stand up to Wycombe's spoiling tactics. I hope. 2-0 Teyn, hopefully we'll win 10-0 and Ainsworth gets a ball twatted in his face from 4 yards.

We were much better than them at Adams Park earlier in the season, fancy us to a job on them now. Confidence at an all time high, going for a 3-0 victory.
Regardless of what happens I am just enjoying the ride at the moment! Although I hope the journey home will be better than it was from Oxford, alternator went in my car, didn't get home till 2!

That wasn't you in the Oxford car park trying to get your car bonnet up?

Quite possibly! I had only bought it the day before, who puts the pull on the passenger side?!

I haven't seen NTFC for several seasons, so I am purely going on hearsay, but I thought you lot were supposed to be relentless timewasters as well? I could be wrong.

Not like Wycombe, you're on another level.

To be honest, Adam Smith takes it to an extreme that it is embarrassing. If he was an opposition keeper I wouldn't be too chuffed with him.
I would prefer it if he didn't.

I've only seen our new loan keeper once, but that time he got mysteriously injured in stoppage time for a full minute, but then didn't seem too bad after that. Hmm.

Would be well chuffed with a point. You would think this should be a decent game but our rotten style of play will stop that. Believe it or not the majority of our fans hate our tactics but what as supporters can we do about it? Fuck all. :sna: The worst example i saw was at Yeovil in November when we scored midway through the second half for 1-0 and Jombati who was near where i was sitting bent down to tie up his lace which wasn't even undone! :told:

Pierre and Cowan-Hall out with injuries, fuck i can't see us scoring with Hayes alone up front as it looks like we will play 5 in midfield so it won't be pretty.

We're without Richards today, will be an interesting game as we have had him in the starting 11 for most of our games this season.

yup, I like Hayes but he's better at setting others up, or getting tap-ins, than he is at being an attacking force who creates their own chances.

Pierre is a big loss also, I remember Stewart being quality in his first spell with us but he is woefully short of game time, through no fault of his own.

PCH is about the only bit of attacking flair we have in the side at present so again a big loss.

Expect a grim midfield scrapathon with even more spoiling from us than usual, which is saying quite something.

Would be delighted with a 0-0, and equally delighted that I didn't have to watch it.

Glad i'm not there either mate  I doubt we'll try and score but will just try and defend and spoil the game for 90 minutes. :sna:

So far the BBC text updates read, "foul...foul...foul...Northampton shot" (repeat for entire game)

Sounds like we should be 2 or 3 up. Goal saving tackle from a Wycombe player just now, ooh Wycombe have just had a good chance

Have just seen a video of the penalty we were denied, Marcus Bean has gone right through him! Unbelievable it's not been given

Another fantastic win in a fantastic season. 9 wins on the spin, 14 wins from 15, just running out of superlatives. 70 points in February. This season is going down in history.

Club record 9 league wins on the spin now. Won 14 out of 15 in a row as well.

Didn't play as well we have done today, largely due to Rico being out and the way wycombe play. They were physical and niggly as you would expect. Was only going to take 1 to win it as they did not look like scoring.

Danny rose took his goal really well, Collins battled up top and concrete rod was his usual quality self.

What an amazing job wilder has done this season.

Can't ask for any more at the moment, to early to say it? Hello league 2 title.

Very impressive Cobblers. I was looking at the form table, and saw that you lot got 17 wins, 1 draw and only 2 defeats in 20 games and that could only be described as excellent. Well done.

Relatively comfortable win, Wycombe battle well but lacked that bit of quality.
