COD4 Remaster for PS4/XB1

Seems that the rumours were true, Infinity Ward are remastering COD4 (MW1) for the next release.

Best FPS multiplayer ever, IMO. I for one can't wait and would be willing to wave goodbye to my social life.

I can't see them releasing the full game with their new super space bullshit. Barely anyone would play the new game so my bet is that it will be just the campaign remastered and no online features.

I think they will completely re-master it without the advanced movement after the hugely negative reaction to it. Hope so anyway, my favourite game ever (I don't play many tbf)

The new game is apparently named 'Infinite Warfare', so the name itself at least links it in with the previous games. However as Jamie said, if they release a new game and it contains all of this futuristic rubbish, it simply won't be played because Modern Warfare is far superior and since they've never hit the same heights of COD 4 + 5 (Black Ops 1 being the closest) it's fair to assume it won't even be given a second thought with MW.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to get the rest of the maps as DLC if you're willing to pay out an additional 40 quid or so.

Because all games simply must come with half of the content missing now so you can pay for it twice to get everything.

Pleasantly surprised to hear this, quite looking forward to a nostalgia trip. Although it would have been even better to get mw2 remastered, that game was a shitstorm but in the best/funnest way.

Gutted they're bringing back CoD 4 and not MW2 to be honest, never really got into CoD 4 and with the fun glitches and bounces patched it won't be anywhere near as fun as it used to be.
