Col Uwe vs Stags

Can't see us scoring again, now four games without a goal and play Carlisle on Saturday who are five games without a goal.

The number of chances we created last night was incredible. Think it is 31 in last two games.

Camped in Col Uwe half all second half and still couldn't score.

Difference was that Col Uwe had two chances and scored we had tonnes and didn't.

I haven't got a clue how Mansfield didn't score three or four last night. We were woeful, but whereas when we played like that at the weekend Portsmouth put four past us, Mansfield were ridiculously wasteful. Weird game.

Won't argue though, we've lost similar games to that recently where we've been the side missing the chances so balances out eventually I guess.

Really bizarre watching Stags currently, we should have beaten Plymouth and Colchester comfortably it seems yet we lost both.

Not much point in fannying around in midfield with fancy passing and all that when you can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.

That said, not many forwards will be here next season (I live in hope) and if you are going to lose, at least doing it playing alright and being wasteful than just being generally crap.

All clubs have bad runs, we're on one of those just now.

Saturdays game with an equally out of form Carlisle is critical for any play-off aspirations this year.
