Relegation gazillion pointer down in Essex.

This is it for Colchester. Last final chance to make a run at safety. If they win this, they might have a tiny chance at survival, but realistically they are already gone and are now playing for pride. Still, if they win this, they might make a go of it yet.

As for Shrewsbury, they slipped into the bottom 4 last weekend thanks to their FA Cup high jinks. They cannot afford to lose this game. Nor can they realistically afford to draw it. Got to be targeting a win from this one, don't and they could slip further into trouble.

Hard to look past a Shrewsbury win in this one. Colchester(no offence Col U fans) are terrible and even when they look like they might win a game, they implode. Can see Shrewsbury taking this one.

Form:
Colchester: DLLLDL
Shrewsbury: LWLLDW

No, we are definitely already gone. I do fancy a result today though. Let's face it, we have to win again at some point.

Town have yet to score a goal at Colchester's new gaff, we can have another go in Division 4 next season.

Mellon "we've got to respect the point and the clean sheet", FFS! :bang:

Just the four different formations used during the game today then Micky. :ffs:

One of the worst games I've ever watched (that's saying something!) between two truly terrible sides. Colchester's diving right sided player (Wright?) should have been sent off for cheating. Both sides certain for relegation on that outing.

Not being biased, but I was directly behind the 'dives' and they looked like blatant penalties to me.

But yeah, woeful game and we have been certainties for relegation for a lot longer than simply the past six hours!

He was even too embarrassed to claim for the pens the dives were that blatant. Both right in front of my eyes, second one was worse than the first.
