So here is how the league is shaping up for next season. We can still be joined by 1 of Morecambe, Newport, Forest Green or Tranmere and 3 of Blackpool, Sunderland, Lincoln and Oxford.

Some clubs who will look to do a complete rebuild, some that will just add a bit of quality to try to get promoted and teams up from league two who will try to strengthen in key areas to key the momentum from their promotion season. It's going to be a big summer for a lot of clubs.

It's great to see a lot of southern clubs in the league with some great away days. League two was becoming a very northern league.

Accrington Stanley
AFC Wimbledon
Bolton Wanderers
Burton Albion
Cambridge United
Charlton Athletic
Cheltenham Town
Crewe Alexandra
Doncaster Rovers
Fleetwood Town
Gillingham
Ipswich Town
MK Dons
Plymouth Argyle
Portsmouth
Rotherham United
Sheffield Wednesday
Shrewsbury Town
Wigan Athletic
Wycombe Wanderers

Actually, I'm a bit put out too. Why Athletic for Wigan and not us?

Maybe you’re not athletic? We’re united but Rotherham aren’t so make of that what you will.

Looks a competitive league, especially when you add the 3 losing play off sides. Some big teams with big budgets. With some of them with new ownership who are going to want to make a good impression in there 1st full season.

I could not give a flying fig that we are not Argyle on that list.

Genuinely think clubs are mugs if they go out playing big spenders this Summer. A brighter future is on the way but all clubs will still feel the pinch from COVID for a few seasons yet.

I'm thinking lower wages at the majority of clubs, younger squads and many pros in their early 30s forced to take pay cuts or retire.

Obviously Wigan are an anomaly given they've risen back from administration, but I genuinely can't see many throwing money at it in this climate.

Actually, I preferred it without the Athletic.

Anyway, our owner owns his own medical company so he's probably absolutely raked it in during the last 12 months.

A competitive league.

Not many, if any, standing out as mid-table in amongst that lot at the minute.

I was looking at it thinking atleast 3/4 the league will be targeting players offs atleast. Its going to be very hard to predict the relegation places. There will be a fair few disappointed sets of fans this time next year.
