Thierry Audel leaving after today's game - not been given a chance under the new regime. Leaves us short as a number of players have gone and our squad is looking worryingly short with youngster Everington making todays bench.

I presume there will be two arrivals coming in - will be interesting to see the extent of Moyses contacts book.

We are after a CB, wouldn't mind Audel here providing cover/competition for Grant and Pilks

I'd presume there is a good chance of that, seems Crewe want rid and he isn't going to get a move to the FL having not played for us an age. Shame he's gone as I really rated him but Brown and Bencherif seem to have formed a 'decent' partnership and with Miller coming back from injury he wasn't going to get a game. He can give it a week before moving on to you lot though.

Fairly sure Askey will inquire about Audel if he hasn't already. Rated him during his previous spell with us and we desperately need depth/cover in that position.

Thought I'd start this again so we can all keep track of the array of strikers Forest Green sign and monitor £bb$fl££t's spending.

Have you moved on your obsession to us from Grimsby now? :)

No more planned signings for us, although I suppose if somebody becomes available then Day won't turn them down. We have a lot of fringe players on our books now. Reckon some may go.

Shit news. Hopefully Lafayette signs until the end of the season and Deano should come back into the frame now as well.

Shit news. Hopefully Lafayette signs until the end of the season and Deano should come back into the frame now as well.

I should also mention that he is going on loan to Colchester.

It provides Giuseppe Sole with an opportunity for a run in the side which looked less likely when Ross Lafayette came in. Perhaps, though, Ipswich had told us that Colchester were interested and so we signed Lafayette knowing Marriott was likely to leave. He didn't set the world on fire this time around like he did in his first spell but there were signs in the last couple of weeks that he was getting fitter and would begin to find the net again.

Sole, Lafayette, Scott Rendell and Dean Morgan are four very high quality strikers to have at a part-time club like ourselves.

I love Jack but I cant see him doing well at Colchester, especially the way he has fared 2 leagues lower this season. We are fine in the striker department, those 4 would all walk into most conference teams

Signed striker Sam Hillhouse (U19s), centre half Ross Killock (Leeds United youth loan) and midfielder Will Hatfield (Accrington Stanley) so far.

Released AM/striker Josh Wilson (AFC Flyde) and centre half Simon Ainge (Atlético Club Quiebra Parque Avenida).

Currently midfielder Lois Maynard and right back James Bolton are suspended for three games, so any more injuries/suspensions in the next few should have us very light on numbers again. Signing a striker has been discussed but I'm not expecting owt. Provided Hatfield carries on being an excellent player and is Ross Killock's a revelation we could be in good stead for a less hoofy new year.

Audel been released by Crewe today, we'd be stupid not to make a move. Would be ideal alongside Pilks.

Yep, would be more than good enough for anyone down here.

Still baffled that he didn't play much here after Simpson left. Second best, potentially best, CB we had here.

I hope releasing Audel doesn't come back to bite us in the arse, he was one of the better CB and immense on loan last season. I mean Nat Brown or Audel, I know who I would rather have!

Very unhappy about this.

The lad is the best passer of a ball at the club yet hasn't played a single minute of first team football this season after being our best midfield player in League 1 last season.

It may take him a bit of time to get up and running but he's way too good for the conference, his passing ability is better than League 2.

I hope he'll be coming back when this loan is up as he's the right age in terms of players we should be keeping for seasons to come, but I fear we won't see him in a Town shirt again.

Danny Wright signs for Kiddy.

Got to be a location thing, surely?

No use whatsoever on Kiddies current pitch!!

I assume his permanent residence is still in Cambridge. I don't think he ever moved permanently when he was with us and he lived in our 'Madhouse' with the other exiled players at the time

His family live in Gloucester and I think he wanted to move back.

But if he can get back to the way he played for Wrexham he could be a great signing

Is this not Wright's third club now this season? I thought there was a maximum of 2?

He signed in late August for Gateshead. But think the rule is a maximum of 3 but can only play for two and he hadn't played for FGR

Disappointed to lose him, a good player and he's our leading scorer. But he had gone off the boil after a great start, only scoring once in the league in the last couple of months and that was from the spot.

Thomson is a great signing. We wanted him in the summer but never happened - I think because of our lack of funds though Bluandwite may need to correct me on that.

This signing has made me very very happy - 99% confident we'll be safe this season now.
