Rovers striker Ryan Brunt has left the club by mutual consent after an injury ravaged couple of years.

He is a very nice guy and gave his all throughout his two years with us, but it just hasn't worked out for either party. He is a good player but he seems to have lost his edge after a long-term knee injury, which may continue to hamper him elsewhere. Would potentially be a good signing for any Conference club but with age on his side I think he'll get a League Two club.

Thomson is a great signing. We wanted him in the summer but never happened - I think because of our lack of funds though Bluandwite may need to correct me on that.

This signing has made me very very happy - 99% confident we'll be safe this season now.
Think you're right, just a lack of funds at the time I think.

Top signing, physically very strong and tough to shake off the ball, been in excellent form for Kings Lynn this season. Very happy with that, look a lot more threatening up front now.

We've confirmed DSY on a free transfer until the end of the season, although I thought it was already confirmed a few days ago.

Yeah I thought that one was done and dusted, seems to have been announced again though!

You were safe anyway IMO.

Have I seen somewhere that Vadaine Oliver's gone back to Lincoln?
Nope, at Mansfield on loan until the end of the season.

A lot of people were hacked off to see Danny Wright leave Rovers, he was a favourite with lots of fans and a pretty good player too, but sadly he didn't seem to feature in the manager's plans.

Daryl McMahon has joined Boreham Wood from us on a two and a half year deal. Now where are them comments about BW splashing the cash... ;)

In all seriousness though, this is a good move for Macca. He is still our academy manager so will be paid by us and them. Boreham Wood is a little closer to his home and he has a newborn to think about. He also wants game time, which wouldn't be guaranteed here with the new signings...

Good luck to him. He may finally win that Conference South promotion he's been dreaming of...

Why couldn't you have let him move BEFORE he scored a cracking winner against us?

Alan Power's signed a 2 year contract extension. Now we need Miller, Tomlinson and Newton to as well.

Yeah, we're effectively praying for a miracle promotion for that to happen.

Bit meh on Power re-signing - if you look at Twitter, you'd think Maradona had agreed a contract extension judging by the way some fans are going on. Blows hot and cold, haven't forgotten the Chester match last season either.

And Bob's brother;)
Played well of late has Power back in his best position behind the central striker, not surprised he's stopping he dates a lass who works at the hospital.
The big news is Adams stopping for the season, the boy is class:woo:

Chuffed we're keeping Adams (24 hour recall, although I'd be hugely surprised if they recall a 19 year old from a Conference Club and play him in the Championship!), especially if he keeps chipping in with goals!

Power's hitting that consistent form he usually had in the second half of the season. No surprise either that it generally happens when he's shifted further up the pitch behind the striker.

As yesterday's post was lost...

Dean Morgan has been HOUNDED out on loan to Crawley. :( In return we've got Charles Banya on loan from them who we had last season on loan.

We've signed 18 year old, 6' 2" target man Oliver McBurnie from Bradford City on a 1 month loan. We've signed 8 or 9 players recently and off-loaded about 5. Just hope we can win the 3 or 4 games we need to stay up sooner rather than later.

Right proper Scottish name that, don't care how good he is now!
