Pools sign striker Aidan Keena on a permanent from Hearts.

No idea either.

Yeovil's top scorers 17 and 12 goals
Barrow's top scorers 17 and 15 goals....
and Quigley at Barrow is not our penalty taker

Strike partnerships though would be 17 and 8 for us - Yeovil have the better pairing, but can't say I've really seen any others that have impressed too much.

although Rooney is a midfield player his 15 goals mean he's outscored all but 3 of the strikers in the league - but technically yes it's 17 and 8 for the strike partnership.

Good goals record in the Scottish Championship which is about similar standard to this league.
That’s about right. I’d say the bottom 6 of the SPL is League 2 standard, which makes Hearts’ car crash of a season all the more amusing.

Have they [& harrogate] agreed to take up their plastic pitch if promoted?

Yep, which just goes to show those pitches are the reason Bromley and Harrogate are where they are

Max Hunt goes back to Derby at the end of his loan. Searle best find a couple of big rabbits in his hat to replace those two, they’ve been two of our better players and a big part of our recent revival.

Ebbsfleet have signed former Bromley keeper David Gregory on loan from Boreham Wood - I'm guessing Palmer didn't impress when letting 7 goals in on his debut last Saturday then?

Pfft! Lightweight. We had a keeper let in 13 on his debut (11 in the second half- that's one every 4 minutes :ds:) at Stockport in 1935. That's REAL incompetence. Arise Stanley Milton. :bdick:

No idea why you paid a fee for him from us. Seems a nice lad and well liked but evo stik is probably his level
Considering how cheap our owners are I struggle to believe we paid a fee. If so its mad that we even thought wasting a couple of grand on him was a good idea. You just needed to look at his wiki page to know he wasn't a goal scorer like John Still tried passing him off as.

Two loan signings for us this week, Gary Warren from Exeter and Jackson Longridge from Bradford. Never heard of either of them but they will add some much needed experience to our backline.

Warren was our captain last year when he wasn't injured. Slow as molasses but should add the experience your defence was sorely lacking over Christmas if he can get fit.

Still loves nothing more than paying transfer fees for players who nobody else would dream of paying a fee for, like Andre Boucaud, Dan Sparkes and Craig Robson.

Hmm, maybe I should pass on Harry Cardwell’s details to him.

Our two loaned from Blackburn, Matt Platt and Tom White, have both signed on for the rest of the season.

That's massive for us - Platt transformed our defence when he came in in September and many people's player of the season.
White has also been very impressive over the past month and has a big future at Blackburn, I'm sure.

Dagenham have signed Zakuani after we released him.

Fantastic signing, that. Excellent, no nonsense CB.

Just what we need to sort our forward donkey issues. Expect an attacker this week.

He played out wide for us rather than down the middle and was pretty decent.

I’m hoping the reason he’s gone to Halifax is we have something better lined up when the takeover goes through.
Apparently he was umming and arring until our chairman reminded him he was playing for Stockport and things moved along pretty quickly after that. :ds:

Brownie points if you can #SpotTheReference :fish:
