At both us and Lincoln he signed on season long loans, which ended early (and he then suspiciously went to sogn for clubs closer to home). Maybe this being a permanent move will force the issue for him as he can't back out to somewhere nearer home.

Hes got a lot of talent. I always liked him with us, although as he got progressively less happy his performances waned. He's a few years older and needs to find a home- if that's with you lot it could be a good signing.

A little point about Nolan as he got mentioned. Lincoln fans were always slagging him off, not us. Wrexham fans were pretty unhappy we didn't keep him- we basically got him fit and as soon as he started to look good Grimsby gazumped us, you swines.
Coventry took him on loan after we cancelled his loan deal and Robins got fed up with him after four or five games and was never seen there again!

I actually think JMD is happy just being a lower league footballer. I don't think it's his attitude per se (although he didn't take kindly to Cowley pointing out that his running stats were about half of what all the other wingers were doing...only for Robins to also question his work-rate weeks later), I just don't think he's got the drive in him to be anything but a L2/NL yo-yo player. I genuinely think he's happy and fine being as he is.

Nolan was a little annoying ginger scrote wasn't he?

I can't make an informed opinion of him as I was probably climbing up the walls chasing frogs during the time period he played for us but I don't think Gannon liked him so fair play to whoever got his career going.
He's with Ipswich U23's at the minute, Lambert froze him out last season for refusing to board the team coach for an away game after being taken as an emergency sub rather than being in the match day squad I think. Then picked up an injury, not played for nearly a year and my average memory tells me Cook was happy for him to move on.

I would love Nolan back here, but not sure he is the midfielder we need, unless we signed him and the elusive 'specialist' CDM

Woking have signed Jermaine Anderson - very disappointed to see him go there as he was excellent for us last season until he got a horrible injury against Bromley

Quick midfielder, unfortunately a couple of crucial injuries messed up his career. Wish him all the best, class act if he can stay fit. We were already carrying too many crocks to take a chance on him.

(10 mins in) Dowson saying that JMD asked to be released from Woking contract due to mental health issues as he wanted to take break from football. Then turns around to sign for Grimsby.

JMD has denied this on twitter. Woking Grimsby BEEF?

Moussa Diarra admitted he can still barely understand Dowse. Might explain some of his defending this season.

Maguire-Drew has definitely fucked us over. Although it sounds like he’s not the sort of player you’d want around anyway to be honest if he’s crying his way out of more than one club.
