Thought I'd start this again so we can all keep track of the array of strikers Forest Green sign and monitor £bb$fl££t's spending.
Does your owner still accept the new lanolin coated £5,£10 and£20 notes in exchange for vegan hot dogs ,burgers admission money etc. or is he old school and principled and will only accept coins of the realm
old £20 notes, cheques and virtual methods of payment.

I assume his permanent residence is still in Cambridge. I don't think he ever moved permanently when he was with us and he lived in our 'Madhouse' with the other exiled players at the time
Could be signlng for March Town United or Wisbech Town any day now

He won't be attending King's College soon then.

No surprise to see Rowe drop back down to NL. There was a reason, despite his goals, that an EFL Club didn't take punt on him until he was 30/31 and when they did, it was someone like Oldham.

He's nowhere near well rounded enough for the EFL. Whilst he can get away with doing little down here and sticking one in from long range because NL defenders give him the space to do so, he won't get the same in the division above as often and needs more strings to his bow.

Interesting take that given how both Oldham and Bradford fans seem to really rate him... whilst he was playing for them in the... football league.

As much as clubs will complain about the furlough element of our business (3 players furloughed, one long term injured, one 33 and retiring and the other now at Torquay...) - this signing had to happen. Denton and Asante both long term injured - Kairo Mitchell brought in as a long term option, but lets be fair - both Dinanga and Yussuf are on loan - not permanent signings, and both have been garbage.

If we were serious about getting top 7 - this had to happen.

We've started sorting the squad out for next season. Evan Khouri, Luis Adlard and Jaz Goundry all youth players offered deals. Adlard's an 18 year old striker who's had a few minutes here and there this season. No idea about Goundry. Khouri is the one we'd be looking at as potentially breaking through though, midfielder who has started the last two matches. Looked decent against Bolton.

Danny Rowe is a big signing, three years is mentalist territory like but he'll score for fun again down here.

My worry is what he will be like if we do manage to get out of this league. Will he be good enough in League 2 with a couple years left on his contract? Not sure.

Also Akwasi Asante is a good striker down here now? LOL. Hopefully we bin off LJL and give Hamez a deal as he'll probably win us the title on his own.

A potential best player in the league? Get in line behind Callum Roberts and Jordan Davies

Just Googled these two and it seems like all this talk of The Conference being in a right state is correct:

Professor Callum Michael Roberts is a British marine conservation biologist, oceanographer, science communicator, author and research scholar at the University of Exeter.[1] He was formerly at the University of York.[2] He is best known for his research and advocacy related to marine reserves and the environmental impact of fishing.

Jordan Davies (born 24 June 1992) a Welsh television personality & DJ, known for his role as a rep on The Magaluf Weekender.

I am still having absolutely no argument that he was for those exciting few months that he was alive.

Absolute peak Notts to stumble on a player that good and then he gets wiped out by Long Covid. Should’ve done our due diligence and seen a global pandemic coming IMO.

Everyone knows the best players in the division have a Wikipedia page and he doesn't.

That Hamez guy who'll inevitably win Grimsby the title needs to up his game as well if he's going to be mentioned in the same breath as Shamir Mullings.

That's what happens when you buy players solely using a Football Manager database.

He's strong and technically decent but they can only compare him to what they have.

I'm not saying he's a bad player, I'm saying that he was never going to be a serious target for EFL teams despite his outrageous scoring record for Fylde. He likes to be the main man but he's not good enough to be that at EFL level.

Rowe claims the signing is well within the budget. Hollywood reds outrageous claims we’d be paying him £5k a week clearly wide of the mark considering that

He’s also said that it’s a 2 year deal, with the 3rd year being an option based on performance level

Just seen it is two years with a third dependant on performance.
That's not so bad as first feared then is it. The pressure is on him to find the net if he wants that extra year, I like that structure. I think Rowe will have to shelve the lone striker formation though if Rowe is going to start (shit, the names getting confusing already) you'd think. Dinanga might even compliment him best, someone to run the channels and create space.

And Son of Cod still floating about here, absolutely love to see it, TFF OG right there!

He strikes me as the sort of player that would stutter at a place like Bradford but then get picked up by a Crawley or a Stevenage and actually have the chance to be that main man and then start banging them in again.

To be fair what Hans says above is spot on. We just need goals, right now. We just had to get someone who knows how to score at this level, otherwise we might as well bag it in and lose every game from here out. From where we were, we've got a real chance at getting something this season, we've just got to go for it. If Rowe can secure a playoff spot for us, then score the goals to send us up, I'm not sure who will care what kind of numbers he gets next season. If not, then we've got a proven non league scorer for down here next season too. It's (hopefully) a win win. I mean he could also be total shit for us but that's football ain't it

Besides, as Fyldefan used to assure us, Rowes family (or his missus?) Is rich, so he basically plays for free, for the love of the game.

He was on a £500 goal bonus wasn't he? Hence why'd he'd literally shoot from anywhere.
