Who’s giving out contracts considering you haven’t got a manager yet?

Contract News - Both of our Keepers have signed new 2 yr deals. Dibble must be over the moon!
Great news about Lainton, he's amongst the best at this level.

Dibble however...

We have signed defender Dan Cowens any thoughts .
It’s Cowan - think Cowens played/plays for Telford.

Versatile defender who’s probably best right of a three but more than capable as a right-back and even filled in as a left-back in our first season in the National League.

Came through our youth team and was back up to Andy Halls at right back for a few seasons. He was very young with us but he was a steady and assured defender. Unfortunately for him he made a last minute clanger in a match which arguably cost us a play off place, which Askey never forgave him for and he fell out of favour after that. I gather he's done well at County since leaving Macc.

He was a solid squad player in the North for us. His versatility being able to play either side full back or in a back three was very useful.

Brandon Goodship leaves us and goes back to Weymouth where he scored a load of goals albeit in lower divisions.

Never once looked anywhere near good enough for the FL for us so he should be knocking around the 30 goal mark this upcoming season.

At what point do we start getting labelled in the same bracket as moneybags Fleetwood, Crawley, Salford etc al? Our first summer signing is Kieran Kennedy, played 32 times in our league win from a few years ago!

How was he at Wrexhan since?
He didn’t do anything at York, couldn’t get in team and certainly didn’t look like he should be on watching his performances.
Should still do good for you.

Reece Grant is our latest signing from Ebbsfleet
Ah there’s a name I haven’t heard in a while. Our fans seemed to love him when he was with us a couple of years back before we sold him to Dagenham, but he’s never really kicked on in his career despite always looking like a half decent player.

Liam Mandeville signed a new 12 month deal with us which is great news with the form that he’s been in recently. Rowe has definitely got a tune out of him, and hopefully now he can kick on

I think he's always been a good player, just sometimes looked like he wasn't bothered? He seems to have really upped his urgency in play recently and is getting forward a lot more, which is great if he keeps it up. He's someone who is capable of knocking in 10 a season from midfield, which I've always felt is massive. I don't think we've really had that since Danny Whitaker.

Let's just hope he hasn't just been plying for a contract near the end of his deal though eh!

We’ve signed John McAtee from Scunthorpe, we’ll need to pay a fee too.

Sounds like he’s a very promising player who has not quite unlocked his potential yet, perfect for NL football I’d say.

Quick and lively winger who is dangerous when running at defences. A bit hit and miss though, seems to be a confidence player and his passing and decision making are poor at times. I'm a little surprised to see him get an EFL move now and think he could have done with at least another season at this level, but he's a great lad by all accounts and I've no doubt he'll give everything during his time with you.

Just seen that Woking have signed Joe McNerney.

Head the ball all day centre half who gives his all for the team, doesn't throw his toys out the pram when not playing and the other players all think he is a good 'un.

Crawley released him at the end of his contract. Not first choice but started about 20 games for us this season. I honestly would have offered him a contract.

Cheers. Sounds like a good prospect and hopefully he will be able hone his ability during his time with us. It makes a nice change for us to take a player from the National League and hopefully he will be a fan’s favourite in time.

Seems promising from some Scunny fans views. Got ability but lazy, though Hurst got the best out of him when he was there, so hopefully will again. Still young as well.

We've signed Tom White who was part of our National League winning team last season and on loan at Hartlepool in the 2nd part of this season - on a one year deal.

A big earner who could be tied in next season when the parachute payment reduces.

I get the impression you guys really need to get yourselves up at the first go. That being said, he's a very good player for this level.

I've got no idea about wages for him or this league. We had *Ron claims* the 7th highest wage bill in L1 the season we got relegated from it so there has been drastic cost cutting ever since then. Pretty sure we would have had a mid range budget last season due to having some players on contracts still but had shipped a lot of the higher earners off. Would expect us to have a top 7 budget this year.
