Crazy Cov now confirmed on a season loan at Chezzy. If he can resist the urge to lose his mind he will be a good keeper for them. At least we’ll always have this wonderful moment of shithousery to remember him by (as well as the McKirdy incident).

he will score goals at that level - and probably create far more for others - but he's not your main striker type.

He doesn’t score goals at that level, he was with us for a full season and a half, 60 odd appearances he got 5 goals and then your lot signed him, he’s finished.

Fans love saying that line don’t they “he’ll score loads at that level” or “he’s far too good for that league” and then they turn up and they’re shite. Jamie Proctor prime example. Been at north end and all this, “he’ll piss that level” my mate says. He couldn’t hit a barn door. He was shocking

Jamie Proctor has been superb for us. If it wasn't for his injury he would have pushed 20 goals. Fantastic partnership with James Wilson.

Procs has been outstanding. That Di Canio Volley against Sutton is one of the greatest goals I’ve seen live.

You got a better one, Cullen. If you can keep him fit.
Really sharp in the box.

Yeah he scored on his debut but suffered a really bad injury and missed the rest of the season
Thats the story of Cullen sadly, I loved him but he was always injured.

How was Joycey for you last season?

Yeah I liked him. Him and perkins legs had clearly gone but superb on the ball

Not sure if any Wrexham fans are about anymore but they signed Elliott Lee which is a ridiculous signing for National League level. Must be paying him a fat wedge to a) drop down and b) move away from the London area but will be a big player at this level I’d have thought.

He’s a number 10 so not really sure if that’s a system they play. He is technically excellent on the ball who loves to play in the left hand channel to cut in on his right. System they play will be an important as he’s not a true centre forward or a winger and can get lost if asked to do those things but as a pure 10 he’s extremely effective for goals and assists.

And he's been given a three-year contract for good measure joining Wrexham.

Elliott Whitehouse the only trialist we've signed so far. Hopefully Marcus Dewhurst follows.

If you have got someone/2 to feed off him he will cause havoc.

Once we lost Charman to Rochdale we struggled to unearth a goalscorer last season.

I'm just hoping Jacob Hazel can carry on where he left off after leaving Whitby into the league above now. Beck and Hazel hopefully should be a handful.

Beck,s will/should be able to hold the ball up no problem.
Will occupy those CBs also.

We've Hazel, who has scored for fun in league below, alongside, then Marcus Maddison and Jack Lambert behind/wide, as well as Junior Mondal, who could come good this season. Can see us scoring a few goals this season, although wasn't an issue last season to be fair..

What kind of place is Maddison in? If he's dealing with his issues then you'd imagine your nan would be able to stick 25+ in the back of the net alongside him and Beck at NLN level.

He's had two run-outs so far, scored in both, looking not far off fighting fit. Said all the right things in his interview on signing, how he just wants to enjoy a game of football again. Hopefully Alun Armstrong is the right manager to put a smile on his face again. Agree, we should score for fun if he is on his A-Game, supplying the ammo for Beck.

Sounding good. Used to hate him when he was at Gateshead, partly because he was a gobshite but also partly because he was too good for this level and took the piss. I don't think there's really any doubting that part of his problems have been self inflicted but I also think it's been tougher on him than people give him credit and he's been brave to talk about it. Agree in that hopefully Armstrong/Darlo can get the best out of him. You'll be in for an exciting season if that happens, I reckon.

Stockport County.
Jordan Keane signs for Halfax. A much loved player here being part of Championship winning teams from first the NLN and NL. Good signing for them, he won't let them down.

I see Torquay have signed our ex-player Ollie Tomlinson. He usually played the central of our three centre backs. I think he is only 19, got little game time with us, mostly in the various cup competition. Struck me as okay on the ball, but as with many of his age lacked a bit of physicality. I suspect he is brought in as cover and not as an automatic start. I think he has potential, he just was not at higher end league one standard for us last year.

Hmm. To be honest he was poor for us. He came into the squad when the season was already underway, so wasn’t up to speed. Saw him a couple of times and he did ok on his first game, but had a bit of a shocker in the next game. Sent him on loan to Aldershot after that. I think if you can get him fully fit he should be solid in the NL.

We’re scraping a side together so not expecting much. If he can handle National League Football that’s a plus.

In fairness, Daniel has had a good career and I think he just struggled for form due to lack of game time more than anything. Im sure he’ll do well for you if he’s used regularly.
