As yesterday's post was lost...

Dean Morgan has been HOUNDED out on loan to Crawley. :( In return we've got Charles Banya on loan from them who we had last season on loan.

Would you like the number for the Samaritans?

Hurrah, a little intent shown at last. Whether or not Jolley is the player he was a couple of seasons ago remains to be seen, but it's a risk probably worth taking.

Robertson has a fantastic pedigree, over 200 league appearances is certainly nothing to be sniffed at and seems to be Thomas' replacement if he has indeed left.

Good signings but still wouldn't mind one more top quality signing either at central midfield or up front.

Best wishes to Jolley with Grimsby. Very popular player with many County supporters and a shame he's left. Hasn't featured in the team this season bar a few appearances as sub.

Striker or Winger? I get the feeling his best position is in a 4-3-3 but we play 4-4-2. I hear he's preferred up front but feel we've signed him as a winger.

Would think that is us done for signings now tbh, though Humberside are reporting that a couple have just bought 50k of shares in the club and want the money spent on squad strengthing so maybe you will get your wish.

This is a weird one - Wessex side Moneyfields have signed former Portsmouth, Juventus and Stoke striker Vincent Pericard.

What would the Cods do without Mr Fenty, eh?

They said the money would go towards funding moves for more players, didn't they?

by the sounds of that interview they had discussions last week about investing the money, in fact they have been in discussions most of the season. I get the impression the money helped us to secure the signing of Jolley at least. Matt Dannatt reckons there was quite a few clubs in for Jolley.

Also with them saying if they want to sign anyone else they are happy to speak again and provide more funds suggests the 50k was already used.

I left the office before this story broke but the impression I got was that their money will be used for future deals, but I could be wrong.

Matt said there were five Conference sides in for Jolley. Even without this new investment, what other clubs could compete with you wage wise? FGR and Bristol Rovers?

you should know well that its not just wages that effect players decisions at this level, our location doesn't help matters.

The Lottery winners have now come out and said they'll financially support Hurst with another transfer should they believe it was a good signing..

Bit of a dangerous game letting a fan decide who's a good signing but it's some welcome investment. Seem to remember Newport having something similar, and they signed Jolley...

Well that's one way to stick 20% on the asking price.

Can't imagine they'll stay millionaires very long somehow...

Wrexham, Eastleigh and Gateshead?

RE: what would we do without Fenty, perhaps we wouldn't be down here or perhaps we'd have gone bust. No way of knowing. Let's not dwell on that when we can focus on the fact that he pumps a fair bit of money into our club though.

We've signed Scott Davies from Dunstable Town.

Shots fans, I know it's been a few years since he played for you but any opinions?
