We've re-signed Keiran Murtagh which is more good news.

I think I'm pleased with that, seems to have a decent record. Just hope he's not a donkey.

He's not a donkey, I've seen clips of him. Good with the ball at his feet and a good finisher. Just hope we actually play the ball at his feet and not head height. Good signing.

Our fans saw clips of Mark Beck when we were linked, and he looked decent...
That's the problem with clips - they're usually the highlights.

Yeah he was just god awful. I can safely say though that White is 10x more mobile than Beck. Plus anyone with a prolific goal scoring record has got to be good.. Right?

This lad is a bit of an unknown entity. Coming from the Scottish Championship as well? Interesting signing though! He's a big unit but looks mobile and has a hood scoring record, albeit north of the border. Looking on the Livi forums he's done better when in a front 2 so hopefully he won't be lumped up on his own.

We've signed Craig Robson (defender from Bognor) and Christian (Brother Of) Assombalonga.

Anyone?

David Pipe signed a one year deal at Eastleigh.
Bit disappointed to see him go as he was a great pro and leader but was mostly a back-up player (either in midfield or right back) and was on a decent wage, which I guess we can now use for a starting player.

Rob Atkinson signs a new deal, now we just need a pacy giant to play along side him.
Sounds like we are looking to bring in some hungry young bucks to complement the experience we already have on board. Hopefully that will see us compete for 90 plus minutes every game rather than just 50.

Fylde have signed Steve Williams from us. Was a decent centre back for us last season, but injured too often.
Was offered a new deal, presumably as back-up, so a bit disappointing. He'll be very good for Fylde if he can stay fit.

Out of interest, as everyone myself included think some of your players are the highest paid on NL, what constitutes a decent wage £1200, £1500, £2000+

like you said he was decent when he was fit - just had too much bad luck with injuries.
At least that frees up a place in the team/squad for someone like Heneghan ;)

That's quite low for you lot isn't it? You've had players on two and three times that before now.

Under hockaday maybe, I think our biggest earner is keanu on about 2k our wage bill is much much stricter now.

Hahaha .. you've obviously got no idea. He's not on anything like that. Our biggest earners are Parky & Carter and neither are on that.

I know for a fact your highest earner last season was on £1,500/week. A lot of people on this forum like to exaggerate the budgets and player salaries of teams in this league. Macc haven't had any player on above £600/week for years, I would say a reasonably high paid salary at this level is £750/week and above. For the teams with larger budgets such as FGR, Eastleigh, Grimsby etc the majority of the players will be on around £750-£900/week and there will be the odd few players approaching £1,200-1,500/week. At the lower end, contracts are often 40/44 weeks, even for some full time teams, and the majority of players are often on £350-400/week and maybe a few standout players in the team on £500-600/week.
