Stockport have paid a fee which automatically rules us out. If we knew early on that a substantial fee was needed then we should’ve just got Duckworth.

Donaldson at right back is the only option at the minute and he’s a midfielder. Don’t know what else is available who’s of Southam Hales or even Duckworth’s standard. I’d say DC will be massively gutted he’s missed out.

Don't think you'd have got Duckworth. He left us to go closer to home. Just had a child recently so playing for his hometown club in York was perfect for him really

It's the only way Donaldson gets in the team, had a few defensive trialist's against the Mags, no idea who they were, Tyler Hamilton was one and I got told Connor Thomson ex Gateshead was another, could be incorrect though.

Haway Stocky, I know you love a wind up, Stockport are comfortable favourites with the signings you've made this season and the close of last season.

You don't want Connor Thomson. He scored on his debut but then he was absolutely dreadful for us. Think he's faired a bit better at Scarborough in more recent times admittedly

They are going ALL OUT to guarantee this title, stopping at nothing. Good luck to them.

Ask Stocky but its officially called The Piss League Tinpot Project or summat.

How many signings are Ebbsfleet made so far? Must be above 20 I think.

With Reece Grant yesterday, I make it 19, including 2 season long loans. We had zero players so was always going to sign a load.

With only one recognised striker, I'd expect at least 2 more.

The Piss-Pot Playoff Push.

Watch now, they'll underachieve and only make the play-offs and then make out that it was the plan all along. This shit backfires as all the tinpotters end up more determined to beat the CASH-RICH clubs of the league, especially when it's a Brother who has been out of the big-time for years.

That’s Stocky’s game down to a tee. We all know his tennis towel and sweat bands will be drenched in tears of despair if Stockport do not piss it.

I think the bookies would be mad not to have us as league favourites given the strong recruitment of the last 6 months.

There are always cases of teams who on paper look mustard but for some reason it doesn't work out (Fylde last year are a perfect example).

All will depend on the ability of the squad to gel into a team that performs consistently week in week out.

I have faith in Gannon to be able to achieve this and get us up without the need to play offs but only time will tell.

A lot of those appearances were from the bench, but most fans really rated him. Fast and tricky winger/attacking midfielder who can change a game.
I'd have had him back here this season to play that same role - could really tear it up in NLN if he gets a run of games.

Surprised about this one. Wild made it clear he rated Dyson when asked about good opposition players from last season in a Q and A. Thought it was nailed on with him being fairly local too. Do think he’d have struggled to get into our team admittedly so maybe you’ve offered him regular football.

Least he gets a better right up than last signing Cassidy.
All we need is some midfield players,Got 2 keepers,6 Defenders,4 strikers and 1 midfielder could be a new formation.

Hope you do it this time around. Duckworth is far too good for that league and Redshaw is too on his day

We've signed Rakish Bingham. Not the best of records, but never played in non league before so no idea what to expect. At least we now have two strikers!

Still don't really understand the League 2 Forum obsession with Rakish Bingham. It seems he's some kind of EFL Nicky Clee.

Didn't an old Pools poster go a bit OTT after we signed him from Mansfield back in the day.

Still, the whole Bingham crack has never been funny anyway, he's scored about 20 goals in 200 appearances, he couldn't hack it in the crap strikers retirement home that is the SPL so maybe the drop to regional leagues will do him some good.

This post isn't far off...

"2020: "Bingham, 26, has had a great year with Blyth, knocking in 10 goals in 39 games."

Hopefully the drop in standard will help him!

We got him on loan for 5 games and he was class, we then signed him perm and he was utter dogshit. As Chief says above there was this bizarre thread that’s longer than the Bible and it just went on and on and became about as funny as a novichok milkshake

I did start to read it (Beebot linked it above) but 37 pages... Sod that.
