Defender! Signed by Peter Taylor when we had zero money, attacking midfielder/right wing never been a defender. On his day he is very good but you’ll only see that once in 5 games, very hard worker so not a bad signing if ambitions are low.

I'm sure he's always been a wing back? He definitely played there for Carlisle.

We have signed defender Jerome Binnom-Williams who was at Halifax Town last season.

For us he was a winger or was played behind the strikers, he had a couple of games at left back and was terrible. He failed to track back when he played for us on the wing, he will work hard but just no good at the defensive side from what I saw over two years. An average NL player.

So surprised people are still signing players, we were about to get rid of one Joan Luque but that’s now changed as the club he was going to Maidstone have withdrawn the contract. Our MD has issued a statement, £20m needed or the end could be near for many clubs or even the existence of the NL. We will be ready to stream home games.

I'm pretty sure he's playing for us today. If it's not him its someone who looks awfully like him.

Pools sign defender Ryan Johnson, last seen at Kidderminster, any good?

You'll see loads of Harriers fans slating him. I thought he was really underrated. He had the odd mistake in him but he's a solid player. And a left footed CB which is a bit rarer. As a squad player he'll be good for you.

Sounds like that’s what he’ll be, thanks for that.

Gutted to lose him on a free. Decent midfielder. Be a good addition to you men. Liked the way you added ‘free agent’ bit as well ha ha.

Wasn't a dig at you lot Bro. Fylde getting far too much shit on here for my liking.

It was to clarify matters to the Wrexham, Hartlepool fans.

And Jorome Slew from Maldon & Tiptree too. So that’s the entire Maldon front line snapped up, over 100 goals between the three of them but also three levels below.

The Maldon front 3 + Dennon Lewis + Lafayette + Emmanuel is actually a pretty impressive forward line for a newly promoted team.

If your back line and midfield are steady you'll be absolutely fine this season.

That Maldon side was far far too good for step 4 and would have been a top side at step 3 as well. They bossed their cup tie with Newport last year.

Pretty desperate signing for us but that is Pools in 2020.

Pools make a double signing, two loanees, centre back Lewis Cass from Newcastle and keeper Henrich Ravas from Derby until end of the season.

Ravas is an interesting one. Very highly rated.

Killip on the way out then. Brad Young in the GK kit and all.

Sounds like Cass is a utility player.

Killip has been a disaster from day one, such a terrible signing, Challinor was talking about loaning Young out so I’m not sure where that will leave Killip, can’t imagine Derby loaning us this lad if we haven’t gave assurances he’ll be a starter.

Edit. I see what you mean by Young and the kit, yeah he must be on his way then.

Wealdstone have confirmed the signings of Kundai Benyu, Alex Dyer and Charlie Wakefield this afternoon.

Benyu has been on trial with us throughout pre-season and has played for Aldershot at this level before. When Shots fans found out he was on trial, I did see some supporters of theirs were desperate to re-sign him. Hopefully he can perform to a similar standard with us.

Alex Dyer is a midfielder was with us from 2010-13 who seems to have carved out a decent career in Sweden with Ostersunds and Elfsborg before most recently playing in Kuwait.

Charlie Wakefield is a winger who was on Chelsea’s books until last summer when he joined Coventry and made 9 appearances for them last season.
