We've signed Matt Warburton on loan for the rest of the season. They have players back from injury now so he would have found himself down the pecking order, however considering he's started most of Northampton's games in League 1 this season it's quite a signing.

Warburton was a great player for us in the North, good luck to him at Yeovil hope he smashes it.

Yeovil fans will no doubt remember Warby smashing in a direct free kick against them in the FA Cup 1st round match ;)

We've signed Levi Amantchi, CF, one time of Chesterfield, from Workington, and Theo Hudson, Attacking Midfielder, from Leeds. Two young lads to shore us up after injuries struck at start of season.

And then following that game, probably the worst manager in our history got rewarded with a new 3 year contract :ffs:

Crawley have signed Max Watters from Maidstone.

His goal return doesn't look great but anyone know what type of forward he is and if he is any good?

Who wants to tell them...

If it's what an appalling striker he is, don't worry there have been plenty of Daggers on twitter telling us that already. Mind you all the Carlisle fans told us Paddy Madden was dogshit and look what happened there.

We've signed Joe Quigley after he left Dagenham & Redbridge earlier today.

We was in lockdown for April fools day, you’re making up for it right. Banter club.

Hahahahahah idiots, free’s up some wages for us now.

Just had this response from one of your fans on twitter

"He's hugely unpopular here, mainly because he missed 3 chances from a combined total of about 5 yards in the space of a few games. Personally, I didn't think he was a bad footballer, good hold up play and wins a lot in the air. It'll all come down to whether he can score goals"

I posted this the other day and it applies again here.

Lots of players will have bad spells in their career and might leave a negative impression at one or two clubs, but Quigley has received an overwhelmingly negative reception everywhere he's been and he's on about his 5th club at this level now.

Just really lazy scouting, going for "experience" as a substitute for getting someone to go and watch a few step 3 and 4 games and finding a decent striker that way.

We don't have any scouts. We have a manager, a first team/academy coach and that's it. Even our goalkeeping coach has left.

So I’m sat at work, having a shit day, then the notification “welcome to huish Park Joe Quigley” pops up on my phone. FFS, then I have to spend the next half hour explaining to my premier league supporting colleagues what a Joe Quigley is.

I thought we were better than that. Scored twice against us last season, perhaps that’s our level of scouting these days.

half of his seasons tally wasn’t it? He is not a bad footballer just can’t finish his dinner, should have been a defender.

Not a bad shout that, Ryan Bird featured on this thread a couple of years ago, then switched to CB where he is decent apparently

We had Ryan Bird & he was shit even though he scored about 16 goals in that season - mainly pens & 6 yard box tap-ins

We’ve had Quigley and Mullings in the last 2 years. Finally we’ve checked into rehab and shifted the last of the deadwood from last season *

* May have bought more Barnet shaped deadwood over the past few months.

Weymouth have just brought on Sean Shields, who they signed earlier today after his release by Notts.

I'm sure you're not sorry about that.
I agree not really. It was always a ball ache getting to your ground even though i live in Somerset. The one thing that did piss me off with the Yeovil people ( and i worked in South street -- A Packaging company from 1995 to 1998 ) was the fact most of them supported Spurs or Everton. I used to say should'nt you be going down to watch Yeovil instead of travelling ( possibly to the local pub ) There answer was "They'll only go back to Non league so why bother "
