Can't recall the exact ins and outs but he was released following a disciplinary investigation. Captured on Snapchat out in Mansfield acting aggressively apparently. I never saw the actual content. No major concerns footballing ability wise. He might work his way back up the leagues if he treats it as a learning experience but could go the other way too.
Thanks for the comment, he came on for 30 minutes against Hereford and did well, passed the ball well and accurately, hopefully yectakes the chance that he is being given and gets his career back on track.

Stevenage fans were scathing about his performances last season and most seemed to think he was the worst player in a very poor side.
No surprises when I found out our very own David Parkhouse was part of that side who really should’ve been relegated 12 divisions for how shit they actually managed to be.

We’ve signed Tom Walker from Harrogate until Jan. Not a huge surprise - Ardley has wanted him the last couple of times that he’s been available.

Good and bad news. Good because he’s a top player at this level from what I know, bad because it suggests that Roberts isn’t going to be fit for a while.

Very tidy player. We had him on loan for a few months last year and was well impressed. I've seen that Roberts guy once, winger who wanted to cut in and take players on. I wouldn't say Walker is a similar player personally. Walker is very much a "number 10" for me. If you're going to stick him on a wing, not sure about how that would go.

We probably explored it with him not getting in the team at Harrogate, if he didn't fit into the long term project we wouldn't have looked into it further.

Is he left footed? I think we were going to struggle to find a direct Roberts replacement, he’s a pretty unique player down here, but it’s him being injured that means there’s a space in the team.

We seem to have settled on a fluid three behind Wootton, so he’d be in one of those positions. Roberts always tends to play on the right if he’s fit, but otherwise we move them around all the time.

Yeah he's left footed so on paper you'd see why there's a similarity to Roberts but as I say, I had Walker down more as a number 10 playing between the lines. If the three behind the striker is fluid with rotation as you say then it could all work together well.

We've signed Tom Knowles on a free from Cambridge. That's the 3rd of the signings promised last wek and it means we actually have 2 wingers!

Pools sign Joe Bunney who is a forward or defender or something and has played some games for different teams.

Challinor signing a 6ft5 Forward/Defender the night before we play Solihoof, he knows what he's doing...

Tomorrow’s got set pieced to death written all over, it really does.
Although Joe Bunney is 6'5, he is not a target man. Very tall and quite quick, and reasonable scoring record for us. Also played left back reasonably, although was caught short by decent wingers.

Good passer, can tackle. Decent signing, should be more than capable at National League level - surprised Stockport, Alty or Halifax didn't sign him this summer, tbh.

Seems to be getting a good write up on Twitter from Dale and the Cobblers. We don’t have any backup for our left back David Ferguson so he fits the bill. He’ll probably turn out to be shite now.

Gabe Osho and Josh Neufville sign on loan from Luton. Osho was fantastic on loan here last season during an injury crisis, and after that became a regular starter in the championship for reading. Don’t know much about Neufville, but he’s had previous spells with Woking and Solihull.
We’ve got a decent squad now so must start winning soon, can’t be any excuses.

We've signed Gabriel Osho and Josh Neufville on load from Luton. Osho played for us last season and was excellent. Another defender and another winger in the ranks. That's 5 signings in 5 days.

You probably know more about Osho than we do so will leave that one but Neufville is a bit of strange one has he has never had a position really. He originally came through the youth set up as a forward but has been used all over in his loan spells and reserve games. When he has played for us in friendly matches it’s been at fullback. Be interested to see if and where he features for you.

Chesterfield re-sign midfielder Jak McCourt...

Last time he was here he played his part in our relegation from the FL for the first time in history.

Suppose he can only improve from that!!

2nd signing of the day announced as Tom Whelan joins from Weymouth.

He played against us on Saturday! Any Yeovil/Weymouth fans offer an opinion on what to expect? Is he a midfielder!?

He looked a promising prospect when he signed for us but didn't play much. It was a bit disappointing to see him leave (particularly to that lot down the road :P1:)

Osho goes straight in at right back, Neufville not in the squad. Could be a utility player by the sound of it.
