An opportunity for Pardew to stick two fingers up at the Toon.

More importantly though, win this and we're 5 points off the safety total (imo) with 13 games left, which is ridiculous considering where we were under Warnock has a few weeks ago.

Bolasie won't feature but Zaha is in fine form and our super captain Jedinak should return.

Newcastle tend to do us over at home but I'm backing a home win here, 2-0.

Knows us inside out and still couldn't find a way to beat us at home. Hope you enjoy him pal. Expect Zaha to disappear by the end of the season for not playing fullback ;)

It's probably more difficult to get you relegated in fairness

Pardew is a good Premiership manager, doubt you Geordies would have been so ludicrously harsh on him if he was 'From tha toon'

They Geordies fall into the same catergory as west ham fans I'm afraid, what do they expect from an average or below premier league club? At least we know our place :-)

Is Hughton from Newcastle mate?

Sacked at West Ham after putting them through their worst run of form for 70 years, sacked at Charlton for relegating them, sacked at Southampton (not PL, granted), worst derby record in NUFC's entire history, worst cup record, and failed to improve us despite having 5 years in the job and a raft of International footballers at his disposal. Yeah, top manager :fl:

Your place is the Championship. I'm sure he'll do an excellent job taking you back there. At least if he doesn't get sacked en route... AGAIN :)

Pardew got west ham promoted a year after losing in the play off final to us, and this was back in the days before west ham were throwing money at it, that must count for something.

You also sold a lot of talent from under him didn't you?

Exactly, we know our place, we know we're punching above our weight and if we do end up back in the championship I'm sure we'll be sticking with pardew to get us back.
He's come home to a club that doesn't expect miracles, all we want is to remain competitive, it's a better fit all round.
I hope you find another puppet who will bring you the trophies you dream of :bye:

Ashley is your problem, not Pardew.

Ashley is the main problem, yeah. Having a clueless mananger was definitely a problem too, that'd be why we put up no fight to keep him.

And then he got sacked for underperforming, like he usually does.

We did, yes. He never had any problem with it (why would he? he was extremely fortunate to be here to begin with) and was more often than not parrotting whatever bullshit Ashley and co. told him to regarding reinvestment. Remember the £35mil we got for Andy Carroll? Pardew was Jabba's bitch all said and done. Nothing more.

Good luck to you with him, and even more so your flair players who I doubt will last long. We don't expet miracles either, but we do expect a competent manager who knows how to use the players at the club and doesn't alienate the best players in our squad. I hope you enjoy the dull, negative, uninspiring football :bye:

Newcastle have to have the most deluded set of fans in English football, surely?
You're going nowhere with Ashley no matter which manager you have.

"Pardew is a good PL manager". Yet he's been booted out of every PL job he's had. Yes mate, we're the deluded ones :fl:

Is that a fan of the 42nd biggest club in England telling me about our rightful home? :dk::fl: We'll be ok with guff like Pardew managing PL teams. I reckon we could go the rest of the season without picking up a point and still be safe, such is the standard below us. Then we can pick one of these fancy French managers up and more than likely walk top 4 next year. Promising times on Tyneside mate, we're all very excited.

Shola was a great loss, agreed mate.

You lack Vitimin D you're so in Sunderland's shadow. Fact is player's want to play in London, not some frozen wasteland near Scotland! Give it five years you'll be on the brink of relegation league one and Palace's European campaign will be beginning
