We never ever beat Derby and I'm slightly worried about this game, now McClaren has returned and with the squad Derby have on paper I feel it's only a matter of time before it all clicks for them. We however come into this in cracking form which has seen us climb up to 5th in the table, with the players having a full weeks rest they should be back refreshed for this one. I reckon Fletcher will come back into the team for a start but considering Hooper is our best goal scorer and Forestieri has been good up top in his absence it's not a certainty, Fletcher should be one of the first names on the team sheet for me though. Expect Westwood is still out so Dawson to continue in goal. Would be pretty happy with a point here.

Unfortunately this had been said for the best part of three years now. Is it ever going to click? No evidence with this squad of players.
Loads of square pegs in round holes and it'll be that way until January now, we're just going to have to grin and bare it out.

I love how Wednesday apparently invented all football chants, and how apparently other teams have never done so and all sing their own original songs.

Anyway, that was a vast improvement over anything else we've seen this season. Still a long way to go, but it's something.
