So here it is, the new season. Let’s get the match threads up and start pontificating about possible line ups (better people than me can do that though).

No team selection from me, but hey, let’s be optimistic and go for a 3-1 away win.

Wanted to go to this one but I can't, so therefore it will almost certainly be a positive result for us. Having said that, I'd gladly take a draw.

Don’t we always draw? I expect we will line up as a 4-2-3-1 formation like yourselves basically cancelling each other out. In respect to line up I haven’t got a clue as we are likely to be signing between 2 and 4 players before Saturday and I haven’t the faintest idea who they are.

I reckon we will line up as follows if no one else comes in this week

Bonham
Hodson
Jones
Ehmer
Garmston
Charles-cook
O'Keefe
Cisse
Ndjoli
Mandron
Hanlon

Dont think Willock will be fit enough to start.

Going for a 1-2 away win

Marquis' departure has to be good news for us.

Reasonably confident especially with Marquis leaving, but would take a draw.

So this is how I think we will line up:
Dieng
Halliday
Wright/Baptiste
Anderson
Whiteman
Sheaf
Sadlier
Coppinger
Gomes
Ennis

Very happy with that considering we have a new squad

Got to agree, we were second best in the first half but a massive improvement second half and I can see it only getting better as the squad gels and we get the last few players in. Anyway that’s our annual Gillingham draw out of the way.

Good point away from home, sounded like we were hanging on at the end so will happily take a point, onto Burton at home next week
