Nah, seriously: If it wasn't the Turks who competed with us about this Euro I wouldn't mind if we had lose this bid.

btw: How much area of Turkey (percentage) is even located in Europe?

3-5% depending upon who you ask, less than the 23% of Russia being in Europe anyway.

But Russia hadn't hosted a Euro so far

Anyway, was only for information that I asked. Thought it would be a few percentage more tbh. But they play in European competitions so they have the right to bid for a Euro too

Happy with that. Will spend a solid fortnight there and spend a fortune then. Pretty sure I'll have done all the grounds by then so it'll be just to follow France in the various stadia.
Wouldn't have cared had it been given to Turkey. Would've gone there too. Oh well.
