Okay guys a couple of days late but I'm prepared to run an alternative/extra Euro 21 League competition.
Rules: enter your score predictions before start of match
Points awarded: 1 point for correct forecast, 3 points for perfect result.

For instance today I've predicted:

England 1-0 Croatia,
Austria 3-0 North Macedonia,
Netherland 3-1 Ukraine.

Fantastic, 1st ever opening win by England in an Euro competition.
Croatia, World Cup Finalists, were my dark horses in Group D.
Looks good for England to progress to knockouts.

I see that numpty Masi has predicted Croatia to win the group. Lol

They were so dreadful today, I expected more of a test from them, hard to believe they were in the world cup final.

Holland 3-2 Ukraine.
Without doubt most entertaining match so far in Euro's.

I head is swirling with all these games in so short a period.
Even getting their names wrong. Silly blighter that I am.

Over the moon that England won first match and am now waiting with enthusiasm to playing and beating 'The Old Enemy' at end of week. They play today early afternoon and I'll be watching game to size up England's next two opponents. A goalless draw would be best result for my team.

Just got in to see Scotland lost

Going by the BBC website they did everything but score whilst the Czechs have had 2 moments of real quality whereas Scotland had none .

A harsh lesson learnt for the Scots at the highest level?

The BBC got it right.
Frustrating for Scotland but England must now be careful of a wounded opponent.

Spain v Sweden: goalless at half time but the most one-sided match of Euro's.
Sweden with a mere 17% possession had unbelievable chance to go ahead against run of play with their only shot on target.

Playing in hot sweltering conditions over the past couple of days will have taken its toll on many a weary player…
Can you imagine next year in Qatar ???

Spain will be wondering how they didn’t win really.

Lost opportunity.

Both teams missed a sitter.

France v Germany tomorrow.

Hyped up to be a cracker .. so 0-0 then!

Portugal made heavy work of that really but Ronaldo came good in the end.

France v Germany was a tight competitive game - think France deserved to win.

They seemed more in control and had the greater threat.

Poor own goal to win the game although the build up was good.

Could England beat these teams - probably not France but the others would be close.

The changes in the timing of putting up off side flag need to be reversed.
It seems VAR is in charge when it should be primarily job of 'linesman'
Yesterday play continued when clearly a player was off side and a goal scored before linesman put up his flag.
Everybody in the ground had been celebrating [or otherwise] a goal celebration.

Yes as you say it’s like saying to the assistant we don’t trust you even on obvious calls .

They don’t seem to have the funny lines either and the VAR appears to be much quicker in its decision making .

That will do nicely! Italy win tonight and we are in the last 16, like 2016 we get better as the competition progresses.
